So as far as Melty Blood goes, it hasn't gotten much play around the area. That being said, if people ever wanted to play, a couple of us will be glad to play.

If you play Street Fighter and have a facebook, you can join the Northwest Street Fighter group on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/144680008921676/

Here's the next "anime" tournament coming up in the Seattle area (Auburn, WA about 30 minutes from Seattle). https://www.facebook.com/events/619431271421629

We also meet at UW during the school year, and we're on hiatus until school starts up again.

2
Yeah that sounds about right.  We meet at UW, and if you actually want to play Melty, people will play.

For those without a facebook account, I'm just gonna copy paste this event.

"Untitled" Fighting Game Tournament Featuring Blazblue, Skullgirls, Melty Blood, and King of Fighters.

The Venue is Gamebreakerz, located at :
4111 A Street Southeast Auburn, WA 98002
(253) 833-8282

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I started this event in hopes that our community could start a local monthly tournament scene for the games that don't get much exposure and or tournaments in the Northwest.
My goal is that this series might evolve into something big with the help of our local community's attendance and participation. This month's tournament will serve as a test run, and to
see how everything works out with the venue and time constraints. I plan to add/subtract games depending on how things go this month. Persona 4 Arena will be added in August.
The venue is really nice and has a fair amount of room, but we will need people to bring setups so that the tournaments run smoothly. There is a small $3 venue fee that needs to be paid
when you walk in. The event will be streamed via twitch.tv at an unannounced url.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Main Games:

KOF XIII (PS3/360?)

BlazBlue CSEX(Ps3)

Melty Blood (PC)

Skullgirls (PS3/360?)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Schedule:

6/29/12

Singles Tournaments:

Game – Entry Fee – Start time

Blazblue EX – $5 -8pm

KOF XIII – $5 – 8pm

MbCC -- $5-- 6pm

Skullgirls $5 -- 6pm

———————————————————————————————————–

We NEED setups! If you can bring a monitor and or console, please let me know. I think Gamebreakerz already has a couple Asus monitors and xbox360s, but we'll need much more than that that to make this experience go so smoothly.

List of Setups

———————————————————————————————————–

There is a bunch of food within walking distance (across the street) and eating in the venue is okay as long as you are respectful. (Don't make a mess, if you do, clean it up).

hey guys, so I have Melty Blood confirmed as a side tournament at Northwest Majors this Saturday and Sunday. Casual and spectating is free though.

In order to enter the tournament, you have to register for NWM though.

If you guys could make it down, we'd love to have you guys!

this is the schedule for Saturday. Melty will take place all throughout the day, the tournament will start at 6 PM

Hello all! I'll be running the Melty Blood side event at NWM 4 this year. Sorry for the short notice, it took a really long time for them to okay the event   :slowpoke:

We'll have casuals running, but if we run a tournament, you WILL have to have a participant badge. This is just NWM policy sadly :(

Depending on amount of participants, we can run a full bracket, otherwise we'll just run casuals. I'll bring a laptop to run the gameson. Traditional tournament rules will apply if people show up.

Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code v 1.07

Day: Saturday, June 2, 2012
Time: 6 PM (whenever pools end for UMvC3)

Entry: $5 or $10 (depending on what the general consensus is)

Payout:
(Entrants 1 - 11) Top 2 payout: 1st 75%, 2nd 25%
(Entrants 12 - and up) Top 3 payout 1st 70%, 2nd 20%, 3rd 10%

Platform: PC

Double Elimination. (Will become Round Robin if less than 8 participants)
Best of 3 games.
Best of 3 rounds.
Finals (Winners/Losers/Grand) will be Best of 5.
Loser is able to change characters/moons between rounds.
Winner is able to change moons between rounds.

Controllers:
USB Joysticks and Pads are allowed as long as they work without fuss on any recent Windows 7 computer. (Meaning I don't have to install drivers.) I'll also try to bring a psx to pc converter, but bring your own controller. KEYBOARDS ARE BANNED, I DON'T WANT TO GO THROUGH THE BINDINGS AS THAT WILL BE A PAIN TO FIGURE OUT IF PEOPLE ARE PRESSING EACH OTHERS KEYS.

- NWM4 setups MAY be used, but if needed, we must take them back
- All entrants are responsible for their fate in the tournaments they paid for. There will be no refunds or adjustments if they get DQ'd.
- Tournament must be ran in the BYOC room, we cannot designate space needed for the tournament.
- Since we are a side tournament, DQ's will happen within 5 minutes of your match to speed up the tournament.

If you're in more than one pool during the same time slots, be sure to check-in with the judges of all your pools, to let them know you are in multiple pools before starting your play.

If you appear for roll call and your match is announced, you have 5 minutes to acknowledge your match prior to being disqualified from the winners/losers bracket. Hey so we have this confirmed! We are meeting at UW at Paccar Hall at 8:00 PM. I'll update on the room we'll be at, but we'll be more than likely in the basement. We'll be running this here.

http://washington.edu/maps/?PCAR

Most guys will probably be playing UMvC3 and such, but we'll be playing Melty regardless. PM me and i'll give you my number.

We'll be at room 191, but the building will be locked since it's after hours, so just contact me.

13
We're trying to meet up at UW this Friday, but sadly the campus is closed for the week. We're trying to find a different place ATM. I'll keep you posted
