pretty hype, wish I could help, but I'm not gonna try and pretend I can teach a character.

Yeah, I stopped playing stick so it'd be nice if this program could set up keys for us.

I was told LACC's Arcade has the Melty cab from Japan Arcade. Alberto told me that his friend told him, so I can't be sure until I check it out myself. Also, I'm pretty sure I will never have  Saturday off. We're gonna hafta do something about this, be it for Arcade meetups or my casuals. If LACC does have it, than we might have a reason to play Fridays again. God I just hope they fix the cabs when they need repairs.

Can anyone DM over twitter me or message me here (phone not in service atm) and tell me their weekly schedule so I can try a day everyone can agree with during the week. Cause Saturdays are done for me. It's just not happening anymore. And while I do get Sundays off, it seems like that day nobody wants to do shit on period T_T

This is essentially a virtual on clone with Touhou characters. Touhou On has been my latest addiction. I'd like to play this with someone, I tell my boys to pick it up so we can stream it at our casuals but no real interest. Anyway, you guys should give it a try if you haven't already I think it's very fun.

oh man.
Viskar/iPhail hold on a minute.
Sometime this month, or early January, I HAVE TO hold casuals. I told a lot of people we haven't had attend before I'd like to host within the span of three weeks. I was just keeping myself from announcing it cause I wanted Numakie and Bell (and anyone else that attended) to take a rest from NEC and the work lying in wait thereafter, rather than shout "CASUALS!!!!" when they just got back to reality.

I've got like, 10 people outside of our regulars that want to come/I'm trying to get to come to my casuals.
I'm giving it a three week widow starting next week. And I'd like for us all (or at least 80%) to come to an agreement on which weekend is best for us to attend.
I'm partial to Saturday as it is a must for some of us.
I'll discuss it with most of you at Rebel Up, and message anyone I haven't met at Super to see if we can make this work out for everyone.

Akiha's Tea Room / Re: Introductory Thread (Take off your shoes, please)
« on: December 07, 2013, 11:02:22 AM »
Hello, I'm Marcel a.k.a. Kaanturo

My main is Miyako Arima and I am in desperate need of people to play. A group of guys convinced a local arcade to put Melty Blood in their place, and when I went to said arcade, they wanted me to get the game and learn it before Friday [tomorrow]. Now I'm addicted. This is where all of you come in. If anyone wants to play, please, let me know.

Like, now.

Edit: Oh whoops, I forgot location. SoCal, Los Angeles.

Yo. Nice to meecha, Kaanturo.

Name's Numakie. I've been leading the arcade MB scene round the LA area for some time now(kind of unintentionally. haha). Been running stuff at Japan Arcade biweekly, & trying to start up something at Super Arcade.

The SoCal thread is where I post the schedule of when I run stuff:
http://www.meltybread.com/forums/regional-community/socal-melty-cuz-we-so-socal!/

Speaking of MB, I'm making a first attempt to run an event @ TRB for Melty... tonight actually. Hope to see you there.

AAAAAAA I WISH I HAD SEEN THIS SOONER

Also, I was actually talking about Japan Arcade, I was there last Friday, but my friend and I had to leave since the group's table was ready up at Manna. I will be back this Friday, though. Not sure if he got to download it but oh well. The one thing that concerns me a little is that I'm one of those people that still haven't gotten around to buying a fight stick and actually prefers a pad, and the pad slots weren't working if I remember correctly. Still going to try, though [or maybe there's a way we can play off my laptop? I'm never without it anyway.]

Hope to see you there.

Damn, I wish I read this sooner. Kaantaro, if you're still interested, I host Casuals in mid city Los Angeles, that's just a little southwest of Downtown. We're the same guys that Go to Japan Arcade btw. RIP Japan Arcade T_T

This post is subject to change, so make sure to check By Friday afternoon.
For those who have attended my casuals you already have an Idea what to expect.
We have access to the balcony (dress warm if you can). which is at least 3 times bigger than my room (which was decent, right?) however, we don’t have the ability to just go and come as we please like we can with my room. We have a fridge and microwave on the balcony, so you can bring anything you can nuke.  Since we’re not paying for games, money for food is appreciated, I have chips & soda & bottled water.

If everyone I hope comes does, we’ll have 14 people. Preparations are complete, drop by anytime after 7 pm. I won’t reject anyone coming later than 3 am, just apologize to my mom if you wake her. If you wanna bring more, that’s not a prollem. Just let em know it's an all nighter. I have a pair of matresses if anyone needs a nap but everyone's gotta be up by 6:30 am and ready to leave by 7 am.

Games/Setups
I have three laptops in house, All of which I expect to play Melty just fine. If the third is not up to snuff, we'll just play QoH 99 or something on it. Of the three I have two set up at this moment. Nostalgic is bringing a PS3 and  laptop, so we have three Melty setups guaranteed, and I guess CP/Vsav? John is bringing his 360 with ACR. Since I expect you all to have accounts here, we can discuss who's capable of bringing what  here.
Make sure to bring your own stick.

Hipster Akiha?
Yes, I like Ecchi-Akiha.
Just don't know when I'll actually make the switch.

I just thought it'd be amusing for the rest of the forum to know that we have 4 F-Akihas in SoCal.
I wonder when I'll make that moon change I always talk about a reality.

Ok, so I've been messing around with this character for a Bit. I'm wondering, if I should stick with this character or start over with Crescent instead.
I would think moon switching would only make your hard match-ups, slightly easier.

Hello I'm starchaser just getting back into Melty blood trying to learn to play kohaku.
It looks like FL hasn't posted in the regional thread since FEB. If you've got your little scene going on, that's great. Hang in there, it could grow.

mel-tans outside of SoCal thread show up?
