@Nagittchi I probably can't fix your issue soon, but for now you can use Xpadder or something similar and map your stick to use keyboard controls.

@Xedders1 thanks for letting me know, there's a couple training mode issues I need to fix.

@NoNo the crash might just be the known rollback crash, but you're right its hard to tell.

For all the crash issues, I plan to add automatic crash reporting to caster sometime, so it will be easier for me tell what happened.
As always, thanks for your work.

I believe the game still have crashes when spectated. It's a bit hard to tell since most of the time, people go spectate accidentaly (trying to get a ffa game), but it looks like a regular thing on seemeinmelty.

Won't doing that otg get you killed by forward tech?

Nope, 236C has a hitbox behind VAkiha as well
That hitbox doesn't reach far enough. 236C was a fine enderin MBAC where the ot where so long (2AAAAA 5C 4C 2C 5BB) that they put you far enough, but some chars, like miyako, could cross up with forward tech if you shortened the otg even a bit.

Those otg are shorter, you won't gain the necessary space. I just bothered checking with aoko, and she could tech forward cleanly, so I'm doubtful.

Edit : Oh, funky beat me to it.

Akiha's Tea Room / Re: Rock Paper Scissors situation/strategy
« on: December 30, 2010, 12:39:51 AM »
Rock. You couldn't know at the time he was gonna use paper, and you had 70% chance of winning, and 15% of draw. One try doesnt make a rule, player using scissors will just win 50% of the time (assuming no draw).

7
Either :
  • 29 while in the air.
  • 9 for 1f, or during hitstop (which mean you barely do 9 as the move hits).
The second method is the only way to do it in MBAC, and it only works in MBAC with Tohno, Nanaya, M.Hisui and Vakiha.

Melty Blood Auditorium / Re: why is there so much hate for Nero?

It's a lot easier to make a mistake that will get you to be combo'ed in a ridiculous way, only to end up in summon hell, that to exploits nero's weaknesses (bad movement, huge, no good reversal).

Once you get over it, he can actually be fun to play against.

C Vakiha is the most corner dependent of all the 3 styles, relying mainly on 623C for corner momiji with crap damage, or jC which shouldn't be used if you cant tech punish...

Stages are bigger, too, and this makes getting that corner setup even harder. tk flame tongues are as good as before, and are sligthly better as zoning tools now.

j236B can combo into ad jA on CH2, but i'm not too sure on how reliable it is. I guess it could be used to punish AA moves, such as C-Nanaya 236 series, Akiha 214, wlen 236B (unless she's less vulnerale during it)...

Ok, i feel dumb...

Why am i the only one who has trouble to do even basic links on ries ?

Even 2A 5B 6B fails so easily...

I play mb on netplay every day, guilty gear every week or so, and MBAA every 2 monthes, but MB AC is less competitive than the other two, because it's netplay ?

Sure.

casual netplay games with input lag and no tourney pressure are not competitive matches.
Lag barely make a game less competitive, people playing it definitely make it more competitive. Our offline sessions would never had happenned save the daily netplay. The game wasnt played at all before MBAC PC.

My guess is that just like Tohno's LA, it does 11k red damage. But unlike every other attacks in the game, it can set the red bar lower than the yellow bar.

i think it's rather that wlen is so slow she fails at punishing you do. Even 623C is a pain to punish (2B only score 1 hit).

If you check their hitbox, whitelen air moves arent THAT bad, she's just too slow to use them correctly

Seems like crescent moon can now ground throw in any direction, but with 50% prorate. less damage, more 236C combos.
New move (421?), ice bolt, seems like ex version downs with oki.

236 seems faster. It seems like you can use the second part of 2CC without having to use 2C, by charging, which would mean it could be somehow usefull now. 2B 623A WORKS ON WARC WOOT.

EDIT : Ishould have read more, everything was wrote here before.

I was browsing around some random matches and this one particularly caught my attention: http://youtube.com/watch?v=mlSf-tL8CAE
The pressure and mixups are just insane, especially the otg strings. Close, but no cigar. :'(
Great stuff there, thanks.

That video reminds me of that thread : http://www.meltybread.com/forums/index.php?topic=749.0

It seems like that white len player doesnt combo after 236C 2[C] to set up stronger okizeme.
Interesting.

why don't you sticky the other thread instead of locking it and creating a new one? The old thread contains quite a lot of useful information.
+1

Well, thanks for the help, i'll check this out  :)

Well here's a link to Psylocke's post about Wlen combos :
http://www.meltybread.com/forums/index.php?topic=74.msg11141#msg11141

Some random stuff to add :
623A shouldnt be used to start a combo, since it's unsafe on block
623A combo after 2B and 2C on every character but Len, White len, and Red Arc
2C connect after 623A on Hisui, Mech Hisui and Satsuki

I'm still lacking in blockstring and okizeme, it'd be nice if someone could post about it  ;D
