The problem with the West Toasts was after WT10, the attendance for them steadily dropped. WT11 had a decent turnout, but 12 and 13 had almost no one. It isn't really worth anyone's time or travel if nobody shows up. :psyduck:

Arly and I went to Fry's. :V

24 inch Samsung 1080p monitor for $150. Laser colour printer for $130. 2TB internal drive for $68. Same with external. A shit ton of free software after rebates. :prinny:

So I started playing this because it flipped to F2P - and honestly, I was expecting some stupid shit like Mabi where you had to pay. But no, this game actually allows you to earn the currency to buy the content by playing the game, and has routine sales and price drops on the quest packages and shit. I ended up subscribing since I rather enjoy the game.

We play on the Nimrodel server - if anyone is interested in a pretty good MMO we'd love to play with more folks.

Also, this NPC sees what you did there:

lol Mugen. Reminds me of the Chip Zanuff ass simple intstant kill move.

Why is there no Arihiko MUGEN character? This would so make me wanna play that again.

Do not insinuate Persona 3 and MUGEN in the same sentence. That's like saying AIDS is awesome.

The movie was released in SG, I believe, with English subs. I haven't bothered to search for a download, but I'm sure it's out there.

I dunno, it might have something to do with the aftermath of Unwound Future. They've time-traveled in that one, so I assume anything is possible now.

But we also don't have games four and five here, or the movie yet. :psyduck:

Hi. Let me give you a few pointers.

- You should post here: http://www.meltybread.com/forums/akiha's-tea-room/introductory-thread-(take-off-your-shoes-please)
- Topics with titles in all caps and massive exclamation point spam are likely to get trolled or ignored.
- Including your OS, specs, and other stuff like that will help people to give you troubleshooting information.

Yeah, it's still sitting in the garage. x.x; Do remember it is an 8th Style though, so to go to Sirius it'd need a hardware upgrade.

@ Loli: How goes the job search?  I know that there should be some more IT jobs showing up with the MGMMIRAGE HR soon if you're still looking for something.
Yeah, still looking.  I went onto the MGM site recently and there wasn't anything for IT, but I'll keep an eye on it.  Thanks man.

In the same boat mate. :(

One Must Fall 2097, best game ever.

This x infinity.

My first non-arcade FG is kinda blurry. I can't remember if it was OMF or SF2. I definitely played a lot of both. EC as well, but that was hell without a 6 button pad. Sup pressing start to switch between punch and kick.

I still play OMF to this day. I still find my favourite 'bot to be Shadow with the ice mod, but Gargoyle could do some crazy shit.

Today I got asked about my first encounter with fighting games. It made me think, so I thought I'd share (OMG SHAREFAG).

My first encounter with arcade FG - and my dad loves to tell this story - was me kicking some guy's ass at Mortal Kombat when it was new. I was so small I had to stand on a stepping stool to reach the controls. This guy was raping everybody, 50 win streak or so, at a mall arcade. Time Out kind of thing. Dad and I waited in line, he held my hand and all. I remember this very clearly because there was a KB Toys across the way where my grandpa went to buy a Supersoaker. I remember watching him go into the store while waiting in line (that's how long the line was, coming out of the arcade about 20 people deep). I get there, finally, hop up on a stool, and body the dude. I think was 7 or so? Stay free, America.

What was your first fighting game? Any interesting experiences?

So.

(From http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=40876 - great thread.)

Motoh: I like how there's really just two ways to play minecraft.
Motoh: Constructively, building great castles and cities.
Motoh: Or mindbendingly, apocalyptically destructively.

Obviously we prefer the latter method of playing.

My favourite Minecraft videos:

Minecraft general, discuss.

Last year when I wore it for Halloween at work, the VP of engineering gave me a sieg heil when I walked into his office. Cue blank "buh?" stare on my part. Best thing is the guy is middle eastern.

Hey. Hey Rowan. Hey.

(Yes, yes, I know, I don't have the headset/MP3 player on. I had left it in my office when that photo was taken.)

I'm pretty sure this isn't going to be a canon game - but if it is, I'm curious to find out what happened to Mayoi/Maya in the storyline. In GS4 she was completely absent and Ryuichi never mentions her in the game at all. :psyduck:
