Kohaku's Magical Garage / About Frame Data
« on: December 27, 2011, 08:05:32 PM »
As a casual gamer, I've decided to come out of wondering about certain things about fighting games and have finally decided to ask stuff so I can refine myself into getting better (as well as start playing actual games) so my main concern starts with this.

"Frame Data"

I know about start-up, recovery, active frames and so on but when people claim to say how a move is 4 frames, I often go "ok."

Just a quick question for now:

How much time is allotted for 1 frame and how exactly are is one able to understand and read it?

I'll also be helping host this event so try to drop by and hang out with us.

last tourney we gave away a roundtrip flight to FL for South Florida Challenge 4! Thanks to D'Nyce

I was suppose to give away the flight to SoCal Regionals but no time and this venue is kinda high.

Now what we are offering is a chance to have you guys from out of state to come out, Hang and compete with us. In thought of Big E's crew, I wanted to offer philly a FREE VENUE FEE (they pay $0 in venue). My partner just confirmed with me that it is ok to have a FREE VENUE FEE FROM OUT OF STATE! (anyone that sleeps out side of NYS will get free venue).

I will say this one time.. Don't try to cheat out of $8.. You know who you are..

I am and always will be for the community. even though I don't even play much anymore.

Enjoy! : )

Well, I was playing this character at Kirah's Bash 2 for shit and giggles and as I played her more, I started to like her.

I've decided to put up a small demo on her BE2C so here it is.

Miyako Arima / [MBAACC] Miyako Thread
« on: August 03, 2010, 07:33:26 PM »
Decided to make one of these to discuss Miyako's current situation in CC.

Crescent Moon (This is the only moon that's been played so far in the current match videos.)

So far, these are the confirmed changes for Crescent Moon:

C-Miyako:

5A - Recovery increased
2A - Recovery increased
2B - Recovery increased
5C - Duration decreased
BE5C - Cannot be canceled into a normal
JB - Duration decreased
EX Choushinchuu - Invincibility reduced
EX Senshippo (abortion punch) - Damage down
B Choushinchuu - Start up slowed

I honestly think she's still beast even though most of her moves were toned down. Also, she doesn't get thrown back as far when she airthrows which probably lets us continue putting pressure on the opponent.

Half Moon

H-Miyako:
5A - Recovery increased
2A - Recovery increased
5A6A - Prorate stronger
2B - Recovery increased
JB - Recovery increased

Ehh, I'm the only one that plays H-Miyako seriously so you all probably won't care what I would have to say about her.

Full Moon

F-Miyako:
5B - Damage down
2B - Damage down
2B - Prorate stronger
5C - Cannot be normal canceled
JB - Duration down
B Gokudo (rider kick) - Damage down
A Renkan (kick kick) - Prorate stronger
B Renkan - Damage down
B Renkan - Prorate stronger
B Renkan - Invincibility reduced
Air A Senshuu (bodysplash) - Prorate stronger
Air B Senshuu - Prorate stronger

Yeah, we all knew this was going to happen but hey, she's still probably a beast.

Anyway, I decided to post this up as of now so all thoughts, opinions, etc could be shared.

Miyako Arima / H-Miyako (Really now?) Grooves
« on: November 01, 2009, 06:17:42 PM »
Your guys are probably thinking, "OSHI-, A Miyako board is alive!" Since I haven't seen a H-Miyako board yet, I decided to make one since I think I'm the only one that uses her? I think you guys use V-sion for dmg testing?

4.6k DMG. Works in corners/midscreen

Input: 2a-5b-2b-5c-6aaa-214b-5b-j.abc-j.abc-airthrow

4.6k DMG. Corners only.

Input: 2a-5b-5c-2c-2b-236a-2c-2b-j.abc-j.abc-airthrow

5.1k DMG. 100% meter needed. Works in corners/midscreen.

Input: 2a-5b-5c-6aaa-214a(charged)-236c-2c-2b-j.abc-j.abc-airthrow.

That's about it. I'll update the thread with more combos that come to mind or so. I'll record the inputs if need be. The video may be shaky since I don't have a stand and it's a camcorder unless someone can show me a better way to have it stand without  putting it in a cup.  :prinny:
