Melty Blood Auditorium / Stupid training regime

I was reading some articles and came across this vid:

Which led me to think, how would this be applied to Melty?

So... simplest level of melty, the attacks themselves.

Thus I'm trying this out to see what it does to my neutral game.

Setup: Pick character, Random opponent (CPU), whatever moon.

Base rules: The only attacks usable are specified, whatever else is fair game.

Phase 1: Only use A attacks until a KO is reached.
Phase 2: Only use B attacks until a KO is reached.
Phase 3: Only use C attacks until a KO is reached.
Phase 4: Only use specials until a KO is reached.
Phase 5: Finish whatever round you finished phase 4 on using whatever rules.

Phase 4 is a pain with Ryougi because her specials are sorta hard to connect with properly.

I'm mostly doing this out of curiosity, I don't really expect anything from it. Feel free to insert vitriol here.  :nyoro:

There doesn't seem to be any discussion on this character, but I'd like to get some talk going.

I've picked up F-Nero as a sub over the course of this past fall and I have the basic combos down. However, I'm having trouble applying pressure in the corner after an airthrow. For the most part I land EX crows and then either 2b, BE6c, or throw, but I can't seem to get anyone to respect it. Should I be using antlion instead of crows? (if so a or b?)

I also presume that using 421a after a throw into the corner is correct for catching techs.

Also, just because:

Corner combo off of BE6c 100% meter
BE6c~BE5c236c AT 2c j.c j.c AT 4.5k against VSion

As far as I know there's Jimmy and myself in this area. CGJ is one possible venue, but I haven't heard anything from them about Melty for a while.

I'd have to talk to Hubbs to see if he would mind us showing up to his biweeklies. Right now it's just KoF XIII and SCIV, but I don't think there's much room to work with.

With all the changes happening with ver 1.05 I think it's appropriate to discuss the possibilities it presents us.

First off, for F and H players:

As this video shows, 236c is now jump cancelable.

For H and C players:

Even though there hasn't been any video of it yet, I am presuming that 623b will be increasingly useful in combos due to the new OTG mechanics. If somebody finds confirmation of this, post it up.

Ehrik's post in the Kouma thread made me look up a particular video that was posted in the Sacchin section a while back. Turns out this guy did a video for all the characters including the joke and console only characters. I don't think all of these were posted here yet, so here we go.

I don't know if you've seen this yet:

All arc drives and last arcs are included for the new characters, and a few combos for each.

What I immediately noticed was Archetype earth's damage output and backwards aerial teleport.

I finally got myself a copy of MBAC and after the physics change from Mugen I'm starting to do much better with Arc compared to Warc. I attached some replays so you all can laugh at my attempts to pull off her combos.

Things I know I need to work on:
Bnb, especially ending them with airthrows
Closing in on Nero. His crouching attacks always seem to get me or clash my attacks.

Things I won't be attempting for a while:
The wallslam combo, I doubt I could pull this off right now.
