Most people here are playing Melty Blood: AA? I've been playing Melty Blood: Act Cadenza Ver. B. — Is there a huge difference between the two?

NetPlay Community / Beginners?

I'm looking for any fellow beginners to play with. I don't mean people who are modest about their game play; I mean honest beginners. Playing hundreds of rounds against people who corner you, and proceed to mercilessly pummel your face into a fine pulp isn't only extremely disheartening, but it gets boring—and one stops learning anything useful after a few hours.
If there're any people who want to play, I'll make a Hamachi network that we can game on.

Melty Blood Auditorium / . . . I am in need of help.

Hey, guys.
I've just started playing this game a couple of days ago -- I use an Xbox360 controller (yeah, not the best choice). -- But how the do you guys do it?
I've played some people online thinking, "If I play people who're a lot better than me, I should learn how to play." I'm very patient, and losing 130 straight rounds doesn't both me—but, unfortunately, I'm not leaning anything.
I've spent hours in practice trying to pull off combos, and I have a decent grasp of ground combos; air ones are the ones whose timing is really tricking me up; is it just a matter of practice? Also. . . what other things do I learn? I pretty much know nothing of this game, and even if I were to master the combos, I highly doubt I would be able to pull any of them off.
I play Kohaku mainly, also.
