well, the subject is my issue.

i havent had any players to direct connect with so i cannot yet test it out in that way.

but in the demo i could play under guest mode, but now i cant play under guest mode at all.
idk why. it just stays at the new challenger screen until i end up having to close the program.

no clue what the problem is. someone help me out.

EDIT: problem fixed?? now instead of freezing i get an error message right away. i properly forwarded my ports and plugged it in through the Ethernet cable.

and i can play direct connect :D

Melty Blood Auditorium / what should i do with out competition?
« on: November 16, 2010, 11:55:29 AM »
okay,

i dont live in a major city, or near anyone who plays meltyblood at all.
i really like this game, it has things alot of other fighting games don't.

but im not into "casual" play but there is no competition. theres the bi-weekly in brooklyn (im in central PA so thats not gonna happen) even if i did go i'd get scrubbed out immediately since i have no human being to practice with. (i also wouldn't have anyone for 2v2, since its just me)
and i can't go to NEC because i have a test that day.
my method of play is also different. im playing on a hard-modded 360 pad (its way better then normal, almost better then a fight pad) on my PC.

so what should i do? i have no competition, no modded ps2, no ps2 arcade stick, all i have is the will to learn and combo perseverance (since all i do is practice combos)
