Melty Blood Auditorium / Next major feature for CCCaster
« on: April 19, 2013, 05:40:28 PM »
Rollback is not up there, because I'm gonna keep working on it on the side.

The first 3 options are kinda ordered in decreasing order of difficulty and time needed.

When I clean up and document the code enough, I'll put it GitHub and people can help.

Melty Blood Auditorium / CCCaster v3.0 Rollback Edition
« on: April 15, 2013, 08:28:02 PM »
Latest version in this folder: https://mega.co.nz/#F!ccRylLbZ!-E9AZDSd_pm6PgVQ35z6QA
Unzip in your MBAACC folder and run cccaster.v3.0.exe
Also don't forget to update your game to 1.4.0

Source code: https://github.com/NotMadscientist/CCCaster

New features in version 3.0:
- Rollback netcode:
Should be mostly stable right now, with a few extremely rare desyncs.
Set rollback as needed (max 15 frames) to compensate for laggy / spikey networks.
Can adjust rollback in-game with Alt + Number.
  Training mode rollback is untested.
Note: rollback prevents replays from saving correctly right now, will fix in a later version.
- Automatic updates, checks on application startup by default.
- Moved max delay and max rollback to settings.
- Changed the spacebar to toggle fast-forward when spectating.

Full change log in the zip file.

If any anything weird happens, like crashes, please post the caster error message (if it exists), and let me know when in the game it happened.

General troubleshooting:
  • Make sure you extract everything from the .zip file into your MBAACC folder,
this means the cccaster folder AND the .exe.
  • Make sure your antivirus and/or firewall isn't blocking or deleting anything related to caster.

Since TTT RXS kindly volunteered his time to do a stream for the DL community, we should try to take advantage of this and expose the airdash community as whole to Toronto. Be sure to say thanks to Vince!
Nothing fancy really, this is just a small tourney to say farewell to CS2 before CSEX comes out, and it's a nice bit of practice for those of us planning to go to NEC.

OFFICIAL TOURNAMENTS:
I don't expect this to be too large, so I won't be quick to disqualify people or anything. I'll be directing BB and GG for the most part. AH3 and Melty will be tentatively scheduled since they depend on the appearance of the Waterloo crew (thanks guys).
If we have less than 8 people for a tournament, I'll suggest running a round robin. Either way, every game should get a chance at the stream.

Ciel's Tech Support / MBAACC input lag
« on: August 04, 2011, 06:28:38 AM »
I've been trying to get rid of the input lag; I have a lagless monitor and the latest Sega JVS I/O board.

Does anyone know if any of the dip switches on the RingWide will help?

« on: November 07, 2010, 10:29:18 AM »
We have about 4 regular players, and 2 more who come sometimes.

Generally we have at least one meet up a week.

To see what we're planning, check out this thread: http://uwgamers.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1022

Feel free to introduce yourself: we always welcome new players.
