We'll see, his like way overly generous and stuff though so he takes on way too much work at school so he's often low on time.

Good, I'm still not sure if I'm going to buy it or not yet, one of my friends was thinking of buying it but I won't be able to talk to him till school starts again, if he does I'll probably just play with him.

You guys don't post up when you're doing MB meets! I've been watching for em ever since AA came out. I'll especially come any time after today, after tomorrow I'll be champions onlineless until the 28th. It also takes me an hour to drive down there so I need a little bit of warning.

I've gotta play after my embarrassing defeats at the tourney, it doesn't help that aoko is hard, and she's different now. Not sure who I'm gonna play yet but it'll probably some version of aoko, some version of satsuki, or some version of ryougi. There's an off chance I'll pick someone else.

I was messing around in training mode and noticed you don't have to hold the button you used to keep the orbs up you just have to hold a button. So if I set the A orb I can press B and then hold B and release A and the orb won't pop(and I can have two orbs up with just one button), does that actually come into play at all, it seems like it could be really useful, but really hard to do right.

Yeah I should throw a lot more orbs around when I'm pressuring people, I barely throw any at all.

edit: also her held orbs slowly hover downwards lol.

Haha yeah, it's a pretty poor time to start the game but I've suddenly got a huge surplus in free time and I've always wanted to play MB.

So my biggest problem with aoko so far(other than freezing up and trying to remember what to do when I score knock down, but that'll come with experience) is the neutral game. I basically just spam 2b and instant air dash backwards with 236A. I have no real idea of what to poke with, or how to stop myself from getting cornered. I also don't know what to do under heavy pressure, looking at her tools I assume parry and maybe 3C? she seems pretty poor on the defense(which is not really surprising considering her offensive and zoning options).

I've got you beat, i just started learning aoko(and really melty blood) yesterday! What time are people usually on th emages association channel? I've been on it on and off for the last couple days and i just see magikapr, zetzubo, and yenniku idling. I'd love to get some tips/hands on learning(most likely in the form of face beatings) with aoko.

Cool, i don't care about the ps3 conversion(and if i'm gonna drop hundreds of dollars on a ps2 the 20ish dollars on the converter won't be too pad). thanks a ton for the info.

Hey I'm just getting in to melty blood and I'd like to use a PS2 controller(the xbox 360 dpad is the worst thing ever). I was wondering a couple things. I read the thread and I hear lots of complaints about the radio shack one with different kinds of sticks, but does it have lag with just a normal ps2 controller? If it does is the super joy box 3 a fine alternative, or should i wait for the converter in the first post to get back in stock?
