Woah, that combo is wacky.  Is he tiger-kneeing those dragon punches?

I'm still busy moving, so I'm not going to be able to make it back to AI for like 2 weeks....  :'(

BTW, I'm not sure if I'm breaking some internet Taboo by asking this, but where is everyone from? I live near downtown LA (although I'm moving a few miles west into Culver City) I make the commute to AI a lot (since I freaking love the place) but I'm curious how far everyone else has to go to get there?

I stay in Watts. Takes me 3 hours to get to Rowland Heights from Watts on a bus. No car
here. But i hardly go to AI anymore. Got Fate/Unlimited Codes & MBAA for PS2 now. Plus
a certain team there started annoying me so i have no real reason to go anymore at least until
people get tired of KOF12 there. I also go there for TECHNIKA.

Culver City to Rowland Heights? Yikes. You should move to the east side better. The east side is
much more comfortable. Downey, Alhambra, Whittier....cities like those. :)

Although you'll be eating Tito's Tacos a lot now won't you?

No MBAA or even MBAC this year at Anime Expo.

Wtf?

And the arcade seems a lot smaller compared to last year. :/

That's what's bothering me about the melty cab there..... It is being used as a sitdown area for the Guilty Beers and the Blah Blew... :slowpoke:  It don't help that the cab is sitting snuggly inbetween both of them like that little girl sitting in the middle of the back seat between 2 big guys.

And the PS2 release doesn't make it any better, assuming the fans will buy it
and also own an import PS2 or converted PS2 slim.

Last time i went to AI, some guy had his chili cheese fries sitting on the
cab while playing BlazBlue. -.-

So uh.......has everyone gotten bored of MBAA?

I went to AI friday night from 8pm-12am and the MBAA
machine was totally neglected. I didn't play either because
i was too busy gathering stars on the MaxiTune 3 DX
cabinets.

But since i decided to retire from Japan Arcade, i'll be dropping
by AI more often. Japan Arcade is DEAD i tell you.

So much stuff going on at A.I. now.
Lucky for me and my team, we're visiting
A.I. next Saturday.

Not sure how much this will impact the MBAA players, but Denjin is having a ranbat on that day. I think it should be fine though, not much overlap between SF4/3S players and MB. But me, I'm gonna be drooling blood on Tom all weekend though (lolwisdomteeth). :psyduck:

Well it's bad enough my team doesn't wanna travel all the way to Rowland Heights, so i'm sure they don't wanna make
that long trip to Simi Valley. Someday though.

But if this does effect MBAA players at A.I., it's a plus for us. We need a lot of practice plus this will be my second time
playing MBAA. I got my teammate hooked on MBAC Ver. B, so now he wants to try out MBAA.

I couldn't make it to A.I. today.
Japan Arcade seriously needs to upgrade their
games more often.

I beg to god Japan Arcade get's MBAA soon and
quick. Everyone is practicing but me.

On the brighter side, i got a USB cable for my dualshock 2
Now i can play MBAC Version B on my PC. :)

Welcome to the hundereds of people who already netplay, and dont worry about everyone practicing without you, only few socal MBers regularly make it out to play mbaa. And if you can, use a stick and not a pad or reap the mashiness :emo:

I'll try to use a joystick but i have no need to do so since i have no intentions of competing with the pros. It'll be an eternal before i master a stick for MBAC/MBAA.

MBAA Version A is fun.
Need MOAR practice though. Least i can win 1 out of 3 rounds.  :P

Those who live really close to the Foothills are lucky.

Took me 3 hours to get to A.I. today. The traffic on Colima Rd. around Azusa Avenue
is ridiculous. I never seeened that kind of traffic in West L.A. and they are supposed to
have the worst traffic ever. :(

Nice, i'm feeling better this week. Looks like i'll be going to A.I. Saturday at 1 pm. Though i wish
they'd open earlier.

To whoever is selling the poster: You got yourself a deal. As said i'll be there at 1 pm Saturday
at the MBAA machine practicing.  :)

E-mail me if you need to contact me before hand.

Word.

Guess i'll make an effort to visit A.I. this weekend, Friday night or Saturday morning.
No one make fun of me either. I still have to play an arcade version of MB. I couldn't make it to
James Games in Upland last weekend because i caught a flu.  :(

Who knows the exact business hours for A.I.? I just wanna know what time it opens Saturday morning.

Meh, just the group that hangs out at the WMMT 3 DX cabinets. It started at their forum.
But they happen to visit Japan Arcade where i always hang out on weekends and it wasn't serious.
But i know they hate me.
I don't care though. :)

Denjin Arcade in Simi Valley has it (outside of LA county by a little bit though)... although it's not set up right now -- from what I heard the Naomi board it was on died  :'(

Watts to Simi Valley is about a......4-5 hour trip. I would love to visit Denjin, since they also have Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3. Might visit Denjin someday. :)

Arcade Infinity is getting MBAA ver.A soon.

let's say around late next week...

^_^

I guess i should plan a tournament too huh...

It's getting to the point where i'm just gonna have to visit A.I. despite the fact that some people there hate me.

University of California, Los Angeles - Coinz (v.B2)
Ackerman Union
308 Westwood Plaza
Los Angeles, CA 90024
(310) 206-0829
http://www.asucla.ucla.edu/proser_ser.asp?ref=xcape&su=true

Uhhh...

I happen to visit this place today but i'm guessing 308 doesn't exist anymore. I wouldn't know since i don't frequent the Westwood area much.

But the addresses i found was 100, 200, & 300 Westwood Plaza. Then it skips to 900+ Westwood Bl.

And there is no way 308 is found inside 300, which is a Medical building. 300 is full of suites and after i called them the answering machine says i reached the UCLA medical center. ???

I stumbled upon a MBAC v.B cab on the last place i thought would have one.  Here's the address

James Games Family Fun Center
364 W Foothill Blvd
Upland, CA 91786-3851
Phone: (909) 946-4438

Currently it is $.50 a game

Just an FYI

W00T111

I'm making a trip to the Inland Empire Saturday morning.
Do you know the business hours?  :)

By the time i get Street Fighter 4 it will not be popular anymore seeing as i don't own either a PS3 or XBox 360.
Least for those who have a converted PS2 slim or imported PS2 such as myself, we'll be enjoying the release of
Arcana Heart 2 in early April.
You DO know there's a PC port coming out, right?

Yeah but i can never successfully install PC games on my computer.
And I don't like bothering people online for help.
I'll wait until i get a PS3 system, maybe later this year.

I'm still playing MBAC on my PS2 slim.
STILL need to play the arcade version, which i'm sure has more than 1 version. Correct me if i'm wrong. I've never played MB away from my PS2.

And i need to be sure what arcade in Los Angeles County has any MB arcades, and please do not mention A.I.

I've visited FFA recently but they no longer had it, and for some apparent reason they replaced it with Killer Instinct 2.

Hello, Loli Star here.

I decided to register to the forums here at Melty Bread after i discovered this place about a month ago after doing a search on cheats for Melty Blood Act Cadenza for PS2. Yes, i own Melty Blood Act Cadenza on PS2. I discovered Melty Blood Act Cadenza at Anime Expo 2008 at the arcade room and felt the need to buy this game one way or the other. Ever since, i've played Arcana Heart a lot less. But that might all change when Arcana Heart 2 is released this April.

Other games i am currently addicted to are Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3, Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3 DX & BlazBlue Calamity Trigger (although i haven't had much time to play and practice since the arcades that have BlazBlue are very far from here).

The name Loli Star was given to me after fellow Wangan Midnight fans started calling me that when they notice my tuning card name said Loli* at the arcade. It was meant to just say Loli but they started adding the "star" part of it and ever since i have stuck to Loli Star as my arcade gaming alias.

I hope to meet a lot of you as well as get details for Melty Blood Act Cadenza in  the future. ^___^
