Where in Mass are you usually? I'm up in Boston/Allston area 2 weekend out of the month (usually to visit girlfriend and to pass by NY for fighting game stuffs) If you want people to play live and are local I could ride around and play a few games lol

I am usually in VA though, so I can also play you up on the Caster

Perfect. I know this game is dead and all but it'd be great to play against more MeltyBread peeps. We do got UNi though so that'll be fun too

Anyone on here going to Otakon this year? A friend and I are gonna be posting up in the Game room with a set up for Melty. We should also have UNi there also. Feel free to stop by and play a few games, with enough interest we'll run a mini-tourny.

Ok, so I've been messing around with this character for a Bit. I'm wondering, if I should stick with this character or start over with Crescent instead.

Wow, Nearly every video on here has been taken down for copyright infringement. Which really sucks cuz it's easier to learn with videos. Is there any way for someone to put them back up[ on youtube?

I'm interested in picking this character up. Disco Lighting and Pants held up by Static electricity. A tutorial would be amazing. Gonna check out those links you posted too.

The new caster works, Me and my friend can finally connect to each other. Oddly though, the inputs feel a bit sluggish. I'm dropping combos I normally wouldn't in Normal Netplay. We actually played normally on Melty's ingame netplay and we went back to not dropping our combos.

On a good note though, We didn't have a single Desync on Caster, and on normal netplay we get a desync once ever 2-3 games.

Thank you so much for this. Knowing if I got a Perfect due to skill instead of desync is very nice :D

Simply doesn't work for me and my buddy. It auto disconnects when melty opens. We didn't resize, we both tried to host. Our ports are set to same port for Melty's Network. I don't know what's wrong.

You'd be surprised! We check the forum nearly everyday! Atleast I do! lol Honestly, I'd like more information on my Mains! F-Seifuku and C-Ciel. But, I'm trying to get to the point where I can get decent with every character. Atleast get good at Everymoon-Nanaya/Everymoon-Sion/Everymoon-Arcueid. lol

This is really helpful. I've been thinking of picking up Crecent and FullMoon Nanaya since I already play Halfmoon. You should refrain from using coloured text since it makes it hard to read. Atleast it does for me. It'd be great to get Video of these combos too. :D  :blah:

I'm having trouble with his IH combo if I start with 2a (getting 5B starter to actually hit in a real fight doesnt work out for me so I gotta start with 2a)

but the combo is 2aa5b2b5c IH 5b5c 236C 5b5c j.bc dj.bc AT

If I start with 2aa, the 5c after the IH wiffs in the combo, Should I dash after IH because 2aa is pushing me too far away? or am I just messing up the timing? Maybe I should remove the 5b after IH and just 5c by itself before I go into 236C? Am I even making sense? all this algebra in my fighting games.  :slowpoke:

18
Apparently We're GODS at this game. I like the ego boost. But honestly I'd be happier if I deserved it. I can Barely j.BC dj. BC AT....

19
This sounds really interesting and fun. I'll give my go at it.

Have you tried turning it on and off? Are you sure it's plugged in?

Is your DirectX updated?

Thanks! I actually sent your post to Zodiac. We will probably be playing each other in person in a couple of days and I'm going to seriously keep this in mind.

Playing other people on the IRC normally gives me 5-8 delay and trying to block IADs/Low attacks on reaction really makes me want to throw my fightsticks into my monitor. Also with all of them being 3-4 times my skill level it's pretty intimidating.

I've rewatched the stream recording and I see what you're talking about with the blockstrings and needing to block more on wakeup.

I'll probably watch more japanese players, and study the wiki a bit more. We planned to do these streams every sunday just to keep ourselves playing or else we'll just get overly busy by other responsibilities.

Thank you for the input!

Ah I see now then. He's the only person I can really play against since I have no other players in my area. And the people I play on the IRC just ruin me and I don't feel like I really learn anything from it. I'd probably learn better combos if I had the time to go into training and grind it out. Today and yesterday were the first times I've gotten to play melty in months due to my job. But I love this game so much so I'm trying to make time for it.
