Listening. I could fix the dump you used to extract the files 000x.p the steam version so that they do not appear distorted after extraction and try to put together a mod with the official translation, if possible?

Well one could make a new file extractor 000x.p, as though the old that I still have is able to extract all the content of the game in steam version, the files are correctly will have extracted staying with graphical errors in photos , pics and text files.

Although I must say that the game is fully translated into English, including all the Boss Rush Mode text as well.

Well friend. For starters, I tried to do this with a clean install of MBAACC and has started giving this problem right away. In every time you try to enter normally, the screen'' Vs. demo'' would not appear at all and the game crashes shortly dai, failed to even close the program normally.

There is problem in your mod! When you open the executable "MBAABR.exe" and get to the part where the screen "vs. Demo" should appear to start the fight, the game crashes at the same time and not resumed. So I had to make a backup of "MBAA.exe" in a folder, rename the "MBAABR.exe" to "MBAA.exe" and so the game can continue normally, allowing for even operate the trainer to activate the characters of boss rush type.

Well, that's the only problem found in your mod. The rest is only graphical things.

Hi

I did some changes in some of the texts of files to apply the most special moves to be used by Eclipse Style versions of a good portion of the characters in mbaacc, by using some original files from the PS2 versions.

link: puu.sh/8wDFC.zip

Feel free.

PS: Erkz, I need help to know what commands are not working well. Please Correct when you have time, yes?

...I've already managed to dump the file index and every single file out of the cvm. How do you think I made framedisplay?

I didn't actually decrypt it, though. The index can be acquired though, uh, somewhat unconventional means. I ran the game in an emulator, save stated, then grabbed the decrypted indexes out of the state's snapshot of running memory.

Executioner Ciel, or whatever you want to call her, is on character selection slot #19(CSEL_C19.AGI for the image file), inbetween Len and Neko Arc. There is no further data for this character: No text files, no reference in the character lookups. Dummied out, they just didn't get rid of the image file.

Edit: Ah, here we go. She's marked as F_CIEL.

Code: [Select]
{ "F_CIEL_WIN.TXT", 0x78f, 0x717cd },
        // arcade
{ "F_CIEL.ARX", 0xff640, 0x2dbf3 },
{ "F_CIEL.CG2", 0x20578, 0x2ddf2 },
{ "F_CIEL.CPF", 0x2f36c, 0x2de33 },
{ "F_CIEL_C.TXT", 0x1df, 0x2de92 },
        // console
{ "F_CIEL.ARX", 0xff640, 0x4e1c4 },
{ "F_CIEL.CG2", 0x20578, 0x4e3c3 },
{ "F_CIEL.CPF", 0x2f36c, 0x4e404 },
{ "F_CIEL_C.TXT", 0x1df, 0x4e463 },

    [CharaNo_019]
        Name = F_CIEL
        File1 = F_CIEL
        File2 = 0
        CharaFace = 19
        Secret1 = 0
        Secret2 = 0
        IconPos = 0,3
        Bg = 1
        CursorMove = 18,6,25,5
        NameWH = 240,98
        StandPos = 0
        WinGrpPos = -80

        ExChara =  16

Lacking a frame data file, though, and F_CIEL_C.TXT is old-style MBAC format, which means it was never updated.

Listen, what program you've used to extract data from Melty Blood Actress Again for PS2 file with the data, since I'm wanting to take the data of the game characters, for the Dust of Osiris, G-Akiha chiefs, the Boss Rush Warachia, Aoko, White Len, Miyako, Koha & Mech, Akiha and eclipses style versions versions of the other characters.

Hi Erkz.

Your Boss Rush Hack was greatly good. Congratulations to you Erkz. I would suggest a few things, like the ability to put that Boss Rush mode as a 'game mode' usually to be selected along with the Arcade, Versus, Training and Network modes as standard. Here's a picture assembled by Photoshop to show how it should look:

Another thing that could be better is to find a way to enable G-Akiha and Dust of Osiris bosses as playable characters. See this photo montage here:

But not only them, but also the Boss Rush versions of Warachia, Arima Miyako, White Len, Aozaki Aoko, Koha & Mech, Dust of Osiris, Ryougi Shiki, Tohno Akiha and Archetype:Earth (PS2 version), all with their styles fighting in Eclipse Style always available for selection (except Akiha that uses a special version of Half-Moon Style) and choosing them by simply going to the corresponding character, holding the Shield button, that is the button "D" and selecting the character. The Eclipse Style will appeared at the time the Style Moon selection screen appear, indicate that the code would work.

Exactly like in Melty Blood Act Cadenza PC when needed to choose Neco-Arc Chaos to play with him.

And lastly, find a way to put the "Eclipse Style" for all characters in the game, allowing you to choose the Eclipse Style after selecting the character and if possible, put all the movelist of three other moon styles of characters (but without removing new ones that may be included ) and edit them a bit the "cpf" files to let the characters using this style of play a little bit even more difficult than normal.

Well, those are my suggestions. Be free to comment and tell me what you and his friends think of these ideas.
