We still play Melty at least once every week or 2 and several people will be getting into UNIEL.

Got to try it out... for several hours last night, looking good!  Couple issues I ran into:
-The one time I tried to change the delay setting from the default, it ignored my input and used the default anyway.
-With one person I spent a while playing, it crashed almost every single time a match ended.  Confirmed we both had autosave replays off.
This was on Win7 32bit.

With summon oki (i.e. 2c 214x or 623c 214x), throw 2c j.2b 2c j.2b 2c takes long enough that you can end with another summon.  Fun stuff. :D

Also thanks for going through all the chars with 6C BE6C, I was about to do it then realized there was a good chance you already had. lol

Here's some F-Ciel changes I noticed in FrameDisplay:

+- 2C active frames changed from 4f -> 2f, but that combined with 5f less recovery makes the move have 7f less total duration.
+- j.A hitbox doesn't go as far back but reaches further down, with a small part of it outside of her hurtbox.
- j.B hitbox doesn't reach quite as far back.
- j.C recovery increased a bit.
+ Backdash recovers 2f faster.
- j.2C hurtbox is bigger above/in front of her head during startup & active frames for both the charged & uncharged versions.
- Uncharged j.2C has a smaller hitbox both near her head and on her blade; doesn't reach quite as low now.
- 4C has a larger vertical hurtbox beginning 4f into startup, lasting until 8f after the active frames.
+ BE4B hitbox reaches very slightly lower.
- 22B hitbox doesn't reach quite as high.
+ 236B now reaches lower in the middle part of its hitbox.
+ 623B reaches much lower, otg relaunch ftw.

I forgot to pay attention to the attack properties, so no notes on those.  :psyduck:

I'm armed with mauve's framedisplay and not afraid to use it !
PS2 -> CC 1.07 changes I noticed:

- 5B active time 4f -> 2f, same startup & total duration
+- j.C hurtbox doesn't reach behind her as far, but the hitbox doesn't go as far back either. (not 100% sure on this)
- j.2b has a bigger hurtbox during its active frames above VSion's waist in front of her.  (startup might be faster but I'm unsure on this)
+ The new BE236B's clash box is the same as uncharged and is active starting on the same frame for 24f (instead of 5f)
+- Uncharged 236B's clash window was nerfed 10f -> 5f, but as a result startup is 5f faster.
+ 236C proration changed 90% -> 93%
+ BE6C has a slightly larger hitbox above VSion's head during the initial active frames. (didn't show anything to suggest why 6C BE6C is an easier link)
- 214D bunker cancel startup nerfed 16f -> 19f
- 5A6A proration nerfed 90% -> 80%

Framedisp shows some of the moves differently for each ver, thus why I wasn't sure on some of the changes.
It looks like it only shows fixed proration and not scaled, so I think a lot of her dmg nerfs aren't shown.  Mauve said he's planning to update Framedisp some more so maybe it'll be added.

Some things I noticed after messing around in training mode a bit..
-OTG relaunches scale pretty heavily, but throwing a divekick into the combo without it being an OTG relaunch does increase the overall damage.
-j.2 has noticably more hitstun than raw divekick.  I couldn't link 2A off max height on a standing Arc, but slightly lower than that and it's definitely possible.  Anyone checked the blockstun yet?
-j.C now has some scaled dmg proration on top of the fixed 90% proration.  Seems like there's lil dmg/proration nerfs here and there.
-6C 6[C] seems like it might be slightly easier to time?
-623C recovery is gdlk.  I wonder if it's better than MBAA ver.A recovery since I heard 623C 214C didn't lead to airtight oki in that and it seems like it does now.

I gotta say, I don't mind her nerfed damage since 6C 6[C] hits on more chars midscreen now and the new divekick lets her get more damage, especially before meterless hard knockdowns.  Max range midscreen 2A leads to 2A5BC2C j.2 2C now too, good times.

Hell, I'm not sure yet if 6CBE6C still works midscreen on the big 5 anymore. (I guess it's the big 4, now that the real Arch-Type is out. Plus I wonder if it works on her and P-Ciel midscreen.)
It actually is "the big 5" in PS2 without archetype - nero, ries, wara, arc, ciel.
Anyway good shtuff, pretty sure I missed this footage before. :D

Finally some c-pciel footage!  The Gamesky stream on Tuesday (doesn't look like it was archived unless it's on niconico) showed her off a bunch and she looks very much intact.  Damage is probably toned down slightly and there might be some other minor nerfs, but overall she looked very playable, not nerfed into oblivion like I was worried had happened.

h-pciel looks about the same.. f-pciel either had her rock toss pressure nerfed or people know better ways out of it now.  Does the rock not travel as far horizontally?
I don't think I've seen a single c-pciel match, wtf happened to her? lol

iirc he's using suboptimal (2c) momiji loops.. 4c[1]623b 5c 623b etc. might still net alright damage.  I guess it's possible damage scaling was changed where it doesn't matter much now though.

I ran across a decent bit of vsion footage in random niconico vids.  Some h-vsions are using 6c 6[c] combos now which I don't remember ever seeing in 1.05, I wonder why.  Either way, seeing more h-vsion in general for whatever reason.  Also saw a lil c-vsion, but I have no idea whatsoever what her changes are.  Corner hard knockdown into offscreen summon looks pretty cheap, but it still doesn't really look like it's worth using her over h-vsion.

btw I did see.. I think F-vsion do 236, is this new?

Sorry, I don't have specific links handy.. I just go on nicovideo and search for 'mbaacc' then sort by date.  There's craptons of new vids put up within the last week alone.

$100+ before shipping is bad enough as is, but I watched some carnival phantasm preview or something and kinda wanted to throw up.  I love me some melty blood, but I sure as hell don't want some barftown fanservice anime in my house.

Anyway, getting to the important part: since there is almost no chance of a stateside release (and if it happens it won't be for a while) and the built-in netplay won't be accessible without paying $100+, there is no chance of having an actual US scene without caster.  Sorry, the small handful of people that will go out and buy the game are not going to constitute a scene.
