Okay guys, so we've got a certain amount of time before the full version of current code is out.
Theres been complaints here and there about what the demo had to offer, so why not make a list of those issues that need to be fixed? Frenchbread is following us ever since the whole Hydra GP tournament, so they don't mind hearing some American feedback. If you have a reasonable issue with the demo, things to be changed added or whatever, post it in here. We can probably get someone to translate it all and sent it straight to the anime fat cats via twitter. If we don't speak up now ol' St.Manabe and his anime elves probably won't be going in the right direction with the game to make it more gdlk than it was before. So there you have it American Melty Blood Community, get to work and do it fast, compile those lab notes and put it in this thread.

Akiha's Tea Room / Re: Final Round Shirt Design Thread
« on: October 25, 2011, 03:00:28 PM »
we all got an idea on IRC that we could sell shirts at FR (I hope Larry doesn't mind)

Dunno yet what to put on the shirt, something mbread+fr/melty+fr related (then we gotta figure out if theres any legal issues with that)

Idea was basically just to sell shirts for exposure for the game at FR, and do SHIRT MATCHES, where the winner gets a shirt for free, and the loser has to pay for one but gets a shirt anyways. Debating on what to do with profits, either just selling the shirts straight priced or just putting profit into FR pot for mb.

just an idea
Alright guys, following along with what ehrik "lowspeed"  ehrikson said here, what I want posted is ideas for a design on shirts for FR. The more input we have, the more we can work with and be flexible. In fact, I'll start, how about one with the carnival phantasm ED picture with all the characters with the logo on the bottom? Sounds kinda gdlk to me. So share your ideas, express that style, and generate that hype. You've got the floor community, hit FR with your best shot.

Same story, different day. This thread will be for putting together different ideas for a design on shirts for Final Round coming in quite a few months. So if you've got an idea for a gdlk looking shirt, then feel free to post it in here. After theres been a sufficient amount of input from people, I'll make a poll later for people to decide on whats best. So lets start making that brainstorm guys, with an 120% chance of HYPE coming along with it!

Do you have an idea for a Kouma shirt?

Of course, Kouma with a Chef's hat and he's holding meltybread or something and theres 2 salt shakers next to him dispensing salt. Maybe it'll say something like stay salty or whatever or salty shirt I dunno something sodium related. 2nd idea, just have Kouma's Win CG holding that jacket looking off in the distance with either "DEAL WITH IT" or "STAY FREE" underneath.

Alright guys, good to see that people are putting in their support and are planning to come out to this. Stage 2 is about to begin, so I'd like to share a little bit of what myself and a few others have planned for Melty Blood at this event.

What were going to do is set up interviews for Top 4 and we'd also like to interview Big E. This game's about to go into the next step, so we've got to get to steppin' along with it. Melty Blood's also got some history with this tourney, so its good to hear from the big man himself some of the war stories to fill in the gray areas for people. Now in order to do that, we'll be needing the proper equipment and manpower.

A cameraman, some interviewers, and video editors. I can take on the video editing if need be, but we'll need some people out on the field to take care of the other stuff. We do have some candidates for interviewers, but we're kind of in the dark on headcounts.

I went ahead and made an entrant list here, so if you posted in this thread you're on here and if I'm wrong blow me up for it. Anyone else whos going, post in this thread so you can be added on the list here, I'll update it. Its Stage 2 and the enemies get harder, theres more deathtraps and the boss at the end goes full retard on low health, but we're gunna clear this shit! Lets go, do what you guys do best, hype to hell and back!

Don't worry dumba, I got it now. You can just let the other thread sleep with the fishes.

Were H-Kouma's j.22b the only one that got the angle change? I thought I saw a C-Kouma do it too
You sure about that LPT? If you've got some solid evidence feel FREE to share

Edit: Also, all of you outside of the US. What events do you want them to know about? I don't know of any majors outside of the US.

we don't run events at "majors" in europe because they're all pretty much terrible and its easier to organize our own smaller meetups and venues. Anything we do ranges from like 5 to 20 people basically staying at somebody's house or at a venue for a weekend.

Honestly I think out of everything I linked the only thing that was tournament footage and not casuals from before or after was the Finland Oulu thing, other tourney footage as explained isn't available anymore.

EU, those spanish speaking countries (sorry, forgot where you guys are all from), and whoever else (singapore, etc.) need to step up and start posting up and representing their scenes. I know you guys have live recorded tourney footage hiding around somewhere. We need to let the fat cats know that a potential market lies not just in the US but other areas as well.

What Zar said, step on up you guys. Remember you don't have to be American to have that American spirit. American Melty is like a war and we've got to grab as much ammo as we can when we go in there, and when we go in.... we GO IN. So show em the hype, show em the support, show em what we can do.
