Actually, that does have some truth to it. The reason I only recorded this in the corner is because that's the only time I can deliberately replicate the issue. Not saying it doesn't happen midscreen, but it happens at least a third as much.

It happens on Ryougi, Akiha, Len, and others. Sad thing is I don't even remember this being a problem in MBAA PS2, although don't take my word for it; it's been a while.
Isn't it possible that you've gotten faster at stick as opposed to pad? Assuming you played on Dualshock 2 back in the day of course.

It's not that I'm unwilling to learn char-specific tech, it's just that I'd rather learn it as an advantage as opposed to a handicap, if you get what I mean. For example, F-Wlen has her universal set of BnBs, but against unlucky Kouma mains, she gains new tech to make them miserable. Unlike in F-Sei's case where she has an almost universal set of BnB, but when Ryougi comes along, you're the unlucky one.

In other words, I'm obsessed with having SOMETHING to fall back and rely on.

Does anyone know how to make the airdash into grab combo ender work consistenly off of 5BB starters? I seem to have absolutely no issue off of 2C starters, but the 5BB starter combos occasionally pop the opponent too high for an air grab off an airdash. It works just fine without the dash, but I'd like the squeeze out as much corner carry from a completely vertical launcher as possible.

Yeah, sorry 'bout that. Guy's an H-Roa main. He was trying, but he's loves zoning with anything that has a projectile, so it's gonna take him a while to realize she's a rushdown char. I spent a year trying to convert him from Brawl to MB too, so that's another factor.

F-Nanaya is sadly me. I've realized way back that no one plays FGs with me if I don't sandbag. T_T

On the hand, I've noticed some places mentioned that 2BBB doesn't combo:

CS1 Litchi was like this to me, too.

No one liked playing against a good Litchi in CS1. If you were a reputable Litchi, you got booted from every room on netplay. And you get nerfed hard in the next patch.
And you could play this chara because you like Akiha, or maybe you like seifuku, or MAYBE EVEN AKIHA IN SEIFUKU. People don't always have gameplay reasons for playing X chara.
This is literally the only reason I'm still making you guys listen to my character loyalty bullshit.

You mean the one Tonberry posted? Argh, why must everything cool be character specific? Go on, laugh at me. I'm an aesthetics person. If it wasn't for F-Sei having no extensive combo filler and C-Sei having completely uninspired specials, I wouldn't be in this predicament to begin with.
