5A 6AA is incredibly frustrating to use on this character due to how 5A will always whiff crouchers.

For ultimate hype, if you can do it

Dunno if the sj.C is possible, you might have too much gravity at that point.  Such a hype combo though, not much damage.

Still no way to do damage.  I was hoping the 214A relaunch would give some sort of method but everything is so prorated the only thing that is useful for is corner carry.

Interesting throw combo:
Throw 2C j.2B 2C 214A BE6C BE2C 214C
Not actually doable most of the time, need to not let j.2B be an otg hit.

Extreme carry combo:

2ABC 214A BE6C dash BE2C 5C 3C j.BC ad.BC dj.BC airthrow.

Otherwise as far as I can tell her optimum combo is

2A 5B 2B 2C 5C 3C j.BC ad.BC dj.BC

Absolutely worthless changes for her.  Cool combo setups with j.2B, sure, and a nice meaty with BE236B, but her crippling damage problem is still around.  On the plus side, other characters have had damage nerfs, so C-V.Sion is more viable.  However, I still feel half moon is just objectively better.

EDIT:  As a comment, for H-V.Sion, I can't find a combo that does more damage than 2A 5B 5C 5A 6AA 6C BE6C j.BE2B 2C 5C 3C j.BC ad.C dj.BC airthrow.  I could be wrong but it seems adding j.BE2B definitely adds damage.

We got a couple of people carpooling (myself included) from MI to FF to stay there for the weekend. I'd ask on DL if someone can pick you up.

You've got me wrong, I live in Illinois and go to college in Michigan.  I'll be 20 minutes away from Nickel City over break, I was just wondering when I'll be getting a ride up to college again.  Regardless I'm in the upper peninsula so I imagine nobody is nearby.

I'll see if I can go, can't say for sure either way though.

It's really just a combo filler move, j.A and j.C fill the roles it could fill both better.  Can be useful in fuzzy guards, though.  That's about it, other than combos.

The main use for it is old combos like 2A 5B 2B 5A 6AA BE4C (5A) 6AA BE5C BE4C (5A) 6AA BE4C, aka meterless safe jump setups.

I will talk even though those watching Greats' stream know I"m terrible at this game right now...

j.B is amazing.  Like, I don't think you understand how amazing j.B is right now.  j.B shuts down ANYTHING below Sion.  It takes bullshit good moves (F-Kohaku 2B) to shut down Sion j.B. I know when I played recently I couldn't even hit 214B j.[C] and I was still doing well.  j.B is an amazing air normal, assuming you can sort of anticipate air footsies (ie, is she lower than you or not? If she's above, hit j.C, if not, j.B, if she's on same level, consider j.A), so I feel more or less this is a misunderstanding of the character.

Tonberry, you should be aware she did lose her lower body invulnerability on 6B, but that's about it.  F-Sion, at least, is a well done character, and it's hard to assume she's bad these days.

The fact you can combo after 236A 22A is stupid.  The only problem I had with this character before was his low damage, and it got put up waaaaay too high.

Yeah, the thing about the old 6B is basically it looked like HEY GUYS I'M BRINGING MY FOOT AROUND TO MURDER YOU.

Now, Tonberry, you're forgetting 2[C], it's a ground chargable low but the chances of ever faking out an overhead with 2[C] is miniscule.

Reverse summons really are a little scary but I dunno, I don't think they're a huge deal.  I need to see somebody not drop her new 1.05 combos to see if her damage is worthwhile yet or not.  The biggest issue I see with this character is the sheer lack of damage she had, and as everybody's damage is being scaled down, I really doubt hers is.

Of course, H-V.Sion having good oki off of 623C again is also bad because it takes away one of the few perks this character DID have.

As somebody said earlier, 214A is used as a relaunch in a combo like 5B 2B 6B 5C 2C 6C j.ABC j.[C]A 214A relaunch Aircombo

Raw airthrow allows a combo after it.  Generally the video I saw showed them doing 5AC as the launcher.

Extended H-Arc bnbs can be incredibly height sensitive and spacing sensitive, not to mention touchy on gravity, and a lot of the time the easiest way to take care of it is adding a 5A.
