If PoFV is available, would you ban Shikieki or Komachi from tournament play? The boss-level characters are fairly imbalanced.

I'd like to make a humble suggestion.  Since team tourneys resolve faster than singles, have the singles for one game and the teams for the other on one day, then switch it for the next.  That way, everyone's not stuck there til ungodly hours on singles' day.

or it could just go to being one day being all melty and another day being all ggxxac instead of splitting it

Half of #MBAC plays Mabi. And really, with only a week to go how much do you think someone can improve against tourney regulars.

I would love a touhou soundtrack.

Here is the one I made. Its sort of a beta version because none of the songs loop. I just wanted to figure out how to make a soundtrack before perfecting looping and matching songs with stages and such.

Using an attack after the airthrow cancels the landing lag, doesn't matter what (A,B,C)

Omitting the airdash until after airthrow allows you to go for 2P crossup

Thank you. I was wondering why people would randomly attack after an airthrow when watching vids. this should help me out alot.

ive made a custom soundtrack with remixed touhou music and the guilty gear fight intro. Its not well done but you tend not to notice when in a heated match.

theres a bug with the leaked patch. It been fixed already. You can either replace your patch3 file with the old one, skip the scene and then repatch or find the fixed patch. Sadly I dont have a link to the fixed patch.

If I lose alot after practicing it depends on the situation. If the matches are always close yet I never win I get a little bit steamed because I know its me chokeing and allowing stuff to happen to lose the battle (like running into predictible heats or other attacks ive ran into the past 20 times.) But I play games to have fun and in a tournament setting you dont lose alot since its usually either single or double elimination. so no I dont get mad if I lose alot even after practicing.

Play someone that will punish you every time you do it, eventually you will break the habit. Things like that become bad habits when you play people and it works. It starts to become second nature. Either make a conscious effort to stop doing it or have someone beat it out of you.

Thanks for the tips. But yeah i made a strong concious effort to stop and it seems to have worked... At least in practice and survival mode.

Hey all Holierthanu here. I hail from Phoenix AZ and have been playing melty blood rather casually for the past year. I was more into GG since my local arcade actually had a machine but not many people seemed to play it focusing on the button smashing MVC2. But now ive learned about netplay. Been lurking here for about a month and decided id try to get good enough to go to West Toast someday, so ill probably post asking random questions or giving my limited 2 cents. I main Akiha Tohno though im also trying to learn Warc and Ciel a bit, allthough sion has been catching my eye as well. Youll probably find me also lurking in the MBAC irc channel.
