On a side note, anyone care to explain how Miyako crossups in the corner works?

From what I've understand so far, in the corner, after air throw, the timing of doing the back dash determines where she lands, either in front or behind the opponent.

Then there's the sj crossup after landing which I still don't understand how it works. And I think I've seen an IAD crossup as well after landing.

My friend had this problem and I helped him solve it by literally copying my whole MBACWIN folder to his hard disc. The game ran fine after that. Patching might be required.

Maybe something like 3C then 6C for that extra hit after upwards slash (MBAC 3B). I think there's quite an amount of delay after teleport. Unless you got the opponent really scared to poke out, I don't think it will really work like what you described. Its just my speculation though.

I didn't know anyone else besides Shiki and Nanaya had this. But to be honest, I don't it any useful mid-combo for Arcueid. Nanaya and Shiki relies a lot on this sj to do a good BNB.

I believe the future in GG is in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. Arc system works makes no secret that its like a GG clone. Heck the main characters resemble Sol and Ky.

2A x N into TK 236A is an option during pressure but my question is, (in corner) is a string like 2A 2A 5B 5C [Whiff 5A] TK 236A good? It brings me closer in to the opponent but like any TK 236A, if opponent anticipates it I can be punished. I noticed most jap players use TK 236A after a few 2As or right after a 214B on wake up.

Generally, my question is, would any block string into whiff 5A then TK 236A be a good option?

Another thing, I fail to see uses for TK 236B besides punishing heat. But that opportunity really relies on luck. Unless I'm missing out on something...

Mix up that sucking in move with [5B] and its gonna be deadly. Its also TK-able from what I see. Which then allows much more options in the air. Any ideas on how the move is executed? Since almost all of Arcueid's moveset is taken up, I see 41236 or 4214 the remaining movesets not used. 4214 is kinda hard to TK :(

Sadly her airthrow is now like Warc's. Increased distance upon landing unless in corner. Her pressure game is weakened by that.

Thanks for the links. Can't wait to try out Arcueid in MBAA.

EDIT: C-Arc is a beast. With the new special that sucks in when charged, which is TK-able into Airdash pressure, and also having huge crossup opportunity, she's definitely much improved compared to MBAC. Her elbow move can now be linked with other normals into damaging combos which is another big plus point. Only thing that seems to be at disadvantage is the bigger stage, so 2C 5C can't actually bring opponent to corner without invalids. From what I see, she still suffers from kind of low damage, compared with the amount of hits and execution required, the ratio for damage is quite low. But I see new combos! Many more new possibilities with her.

I've seen a vid where a H-Arc did a cool looking corner combo involving a lot of whiffs. Its on nico though, can't remember the link. H-Arc doesn't look too bad but C-Arc looks much more attractive to me at least.

F-Arc feels like an easy character to pick up. Combos are damaging and easy to execute.

I read through the few pages and can't seem to find strats on defending the 4-way. Mostly were tips on executing the 4-way. Sorry if this question has been repeated.

Honestly speaking, what are the best options to defending a 4-way. Blocking? I tend to block the wrong direction. I see the Japs prefer back dashing but its easy to end up dashing forward instead due to wrong directions. Dodge doesn't seem so effective as well.

Any suggestions?

IIRC, in one of the SEGA showcase vids, one of the Warc's (I think its H-Warc) had the teleport move buffed. It was an attack itself and could actually be a launcher. So a BNB could go like teleport > air combo. I was thinking H-Warc could do something like 2A 5B 5C 6AAA (Insert cool stuff) Air combo. Either a 236A to launch, or a teleport attack to launch. I"m just speculating though since most of the Half-Moons I have seen seem to have their BNBs revolve around 6AAA.

I think H-Warc has a better BNB as opposed to many using the old BNB. Maybe something like H-Aoko's, where she throws that ground projectile > relaunch to air combo. Haven't seen any H-Warc actually being played differently, most adopt the C-Warc style.

Yeah, FM is cool. In fact, most FMs are cool but not many are actually using them.

I thought these should be the BNB at corners. Since it nets optimum damage compared to the above mentioned ones. Only tricky part would be delaying 5C after 2C but that should come naturally after some practice. Timing wise is similar to Arc's corner combo (2C > 5C) or Akiha's corner combo (2C > 5C or 5C > 2C part)

On a side note, does C-Miyako have that elbow drop? BNB with elbow drop linking to air combo is just way cool. The one that H-Miyako does, something like 6AAA > Elbow move > jump cancel, late jC > land > 5A > Air combo.

More videos that have Crescent Akiha in them today.  She seems to have lost the special superjump cancel on her 5bb, which normally would be pretty bad but she got her super double jump back so I guess it's not too big of a deal.

The C.Akiha player managed a special superjump after 5BB in the corner combo, but mid screen, he always does a normal jump. I don't get how it works now.

EDIT: I think there's a super jump input like X-men vs SF. I'm guessing 28 or something like that. The C.Akiha did a super jump out of the combo. If so, 5BB Super jump is still possible right?

Then again, I might be wrong.

Recently I moved to the UK, and currently I'm staying in a student accommodations flat. Each room is provided with U-want internet which I think sucks but I have no choice but to use it since its the only one available.

I tried connecting to other people using caster after getting their IP on IRC and I get the old TIME OUT message. I tried hosting and the same thing appears at the other end. Even using a relay like mizuumi.net doesn't work for me.

I have no access to router settings or whatever so I cant portforward at all. Besides that, I can't even get past the Synchronizing... stage of Hamachi. It goes like connected > Logging in > probing > synchronizing ... and gets stuck there.

Argh, I want to play some MBAC! Please, can anyone help me with this?

And please don't talk about moving out or getting another ISP. My contract doesn't allow me to do so.

Generally that would mean little changes to her playstyle, still focusing much on air blood rings + jB.
