There are JP dubs of most of the modern CoD games (from MW2 onward, if I remember correctly). No idea who does the voice acting, though. The series actually does pretty well in Japan... not nearly as crazy as the numbers it puts out in the US, but each release is usually good for 300-400k units.

I know both tomorrow and Thursday are normal work days for Tempered, but I do have Thursday (and Friday, oddly enough) off.

It's not as nuts as it sounds. For some of us, our families are far away from here -- in my case, everyone else in my family is back on the east coast. So we can at least live our sad lives together.

Don't worry about it -- just when you come back, be ready to come correct.

^You must be grinding pretty hard. I'm in the process of trying to learn a new character so we'll see how it goes.

I didn't find out until recently that the street date for Xrd's U.S. release has been lifted. Though anyone who pre-ordered the limited edition has to wait until the 23rd.

We already have two PS3 copies here and you always bring your PS3, so we should be good unless a bunch of people show up.

So it looks like people are coming by Saturday. Since this was... a bit of an issue last week, new rule: anyone who shows up before 7 PM will be forced to play me in Aquapazza until 7 PM. Don't test me (or Tama-nee) on this. I'll try to actually be up for this, even though I probably won't play much Xrd. I know Tempered has some hunger, though.

I'm available whenever; I just forgot to post about it because... I dunno, I forgot. :x I can tell you that I've spent no time whatsoever playing Xrd (I just got access to it now), and I'm not even sure how much I'm interested in playing it. What makes sense for people?

I forgot to reply to this portion of the post with the following, but it's too appropriate.

Lasers WERE involved. But just be happy you didn't HELLA lose a ticket over it.

As for this week, it's all up in the air for me. I definitely won't be available on Thursday due to work, but I'll be making close to triple pay at least. If the tournament is officially on Sunday then there's a lot of time between now and then.

That emote is a pretty good approximation of my reaction when that round ended. If only you tried to sidewalk around the lasers. :<

If you want to come through at some point over the weekend, that's fine -- just let me know when. Lord knows I'll have enough food. I have to work for some period of time on Friday but beyond that, I'm good.

I would also be very wary of a coin-op mod. It's one thing to be hacking the game for random bits, but enabling something that would directly enable bootlegging the arcade version is something I would strongly advise against doing, even given how old the game is.

So this week... is going to be interesting. I do have enough food here to feed a small army of death lolis, so come by and eat it (but not the death lolis -- not that I need to worry about that, unless you're into that too, H-F). There's also the tournament this weekend, but who knows if that's on Saturday or Sunday at this point, and I suspect there are people who can't make Saturday or Sunday.

I don't know if anyone is even coming by, but Christmas is cancelled because the place I pre-ordered the new Smash at apparently lost my copy of the game??? Womp womp. So I won't have it until next week. So you're stuck playing UNIEL and DBFC. :p

So, this week. What works for people? SSB4 comes out on Friday -- bring a Gamecube controller? There's still UNIEL of course, and whatever else isn't dead (why do I have a feeling we'll just end up playing Melty all night?)

Also, specifically for Ryd: if you haven't used it yet, would you mind giving me your Club Nintendo code for the 3DS version of Smash? I would compensate you in Pokemon, except I don't have any -- so we'll have to figure something else out.

This week: DBFC comes out and I'm pretty sure no one cares. Come see my waifu. What are people's schedules?
Next week: The new Smash comes out. That should be amusing for the luls, if nothing else.
Week after next: Thanksgiving! Black Friday! I'm guessing people aren't as sadlife as I am and have family to deal with, but I can prepare something over the weekend? And I might have those days off? Maybe.

For anyone wondering, it looks like UAT is available on Sunday the next few weeks but I don't think anything has been confirmed yet (or if it has, I'm not aware).

Do you guys want to actually try playing UNIEL/P4AU for... well, semi-real? Do you want me to start opening it up to some of the other anime players again?

All you missed was Tempered trying to do UNIB combos.  It worked out about as well as it sounds.

Part of me kind of hopes that French Bread puts Sion/Eltnum in every game they work on, just to see the dumb shit Tempered does.
