Note, the 3C/6C/236A followup is always optional, as these will push you back too far to get a reset in if blocked. Any of these may be canceled and tickthrows done at any point before  3C/6C/236A. NAC has no IAD to speak of so his only overhead option is the 6C, so to get the most out of this vs smart players (who continue blocking low in every string till NAC cannot do more), you will have to tick throw and bait fairly frequently.


As you can see, there is a veritable wealth of them, since practically all of NAC's normals are cancelable into each other.


All examples of starting a string with 2A can be substituted for 5A if you wish.

Shiki Nanaya / Countering JC spam

I'm having serious difficulty playing against good Nanaya players due to this annoying little strategy. I play Shiki Tohno, and his 623X's simply don't take priority over Nanaya's JC. I'm trying to air throw but the startup time for Nanaya is pretty short and I can't seem to reliably do it at all, let alone EX SHIELD the thing when it comes down.

Any suggestions at all? I'd had to rely on just holding down shield which isn't very practical.
