He didn't qualify out of the round robin  ;D

The round robin score was

ZTB - 9
Zaelar - 6
Chibi - 6
Quill - 5
LK - 4

I only ranked higher than chibi because I went 2-1 against him.

I'm just noticing the round robin rank is how the final results ended up.

Also ZTB vs LK was the only match in the round robin that went 3-0.  If LK won one he would have been fourth(due to winning the tie with Quill since he won 2-1 there).

Yeh, I gotta stop doing those wakeups.  Hopefully I'll learn from the four hour akatsuki session~

Let's be honest, noone is going to enter a MB tournament anyway. Let's stop playing this side bullshit and stick to 3s/MvC2 already (yeah, me of all people saying this).

>_<

THE TRUE FEELINGS EMERGE!

As long as we have a setup and people want to play I'll run bbb and akatsuki so you got a blitztank.  Big woop.  Wanna fight about it?

Fuzzy guard is going from 4 to 1 or from 1 to 4 to block a mixup where the high/low guess doesn't happen on the same frame.

I've seen successful backwards shielding, but it might have just been a fluke.  I don't remember what was shielded though.

412/623 has priority over 214/236 in most games.  I remember having a list of the priority of motions, but I don't know what happened to it.  I guess I'll have to compile it again.

I'll be driving to/from my house, but you'll need to bus it back to NY.  If we get back late it shouldn't be a problem if you want to stay the night at my place and leave sunday morning/day.

I don't care if theres a tournament or not.  If you want me to run one I will.

I think it's HILARIOUS that there are more MB:AC cabinets (A/B whatever) in the US then the are AH and GGAC cabinets combined.

Damn.

Aren't there 3 arcana heart, 2 guilty gear, and 5 melty blood?

1062
Chibi and myself are going to try to make it.  Hopefully we can bring a setup.

It's just a basic combo that you can go into easily.  It usually doesn't involve using meter, but there are exceptions.  Most start with 2a with having the option of a jump-in before it.

Zaelar-two says he'll money match you.

1065
Some of those people in those pictures look kinda familiar.

turtle is broken as heck top teir,

Yeah.  Everything it does has super armor or like 80 clash frames.

1068
I'm down for random select money matches, or pick a character that isn't your main money matches too.

If a lot of people want to money match I'll try to get two setups, one for casuals, one for money matches.

1069
Uhhhh, I think we are having a side tourney.

Its a side tournament to a side tournament~

I'd rather have a friendly rivalry in ec vs wc.  EC: "We're better than you!",  WC: "No, we're better than you!" xx 5on5 at evo or something.(speaking of which I have no problem organizing that if its wanted)

But anyway....whats going on again?  Where are those veteru vids?

Where did this money match nonsense come from?  Chibi never said he's better than Veteru, he said theres no proof that Veteru is good(ie videos).  All there is is some people saying he was good last year at evo.

........meh I came in here to bash chibi.  Now you all lose out on some grade A insults.

1072
I'll money match you, but we gotta set it up at the event.  Most of my money matches manage to fall through when made online.

Kohaku's Magical Garage / Re: Shield to EX Shield
« on: June 08, 2007, 01:13:16 AM »
It doesn't affect the shield, it's just generally a good idea to hold back when you go for one for that reason.

1074
You forgot the other half to the trick that makes this good and not just a gimmick.  Instead of doing the j.c(or whatever you use) to hit the bugged hitbox for the overhead, you go low(usually 2a).  Yes its obvious, but it should be included for completion's sake.  Once you have your opponent guessing which way to block you can also go for a grab, but its usually a better idea to stick with the high/low mixup most of the time.

1075
Why not have it as a tournament?  Not as the main event, but as a side thing.  Obviously would only work if enough people were interested, but the same could be said for any tournament.
