The spectator mode actually broadcasts a video stream, which will affect your bandwidth and the game performance. I don't like how this program's luring everyone to register that Korean website (and you have to wait for an approval) for exaggerated functions.

All style Nanaya Combo Music Video.

Although this video's a bit old, it's unchanged that the movie is still impressive.

Though it's far away from fancy music video stuff, there are tons of funny stuffs in the video.
(lol from the intro part)

Btw is this a new trend writing inputs in the video?
Hardly saw combo videos containing commands before :P

watching SBT, SAT or whoever in EVO video with English narration will be really cool...

How about finding a way to netplay Japanese people with delay 1?

International Netplay Tournament :P

seems like ecole decided to name it as "current code" as they used melty blood react already.

hope there will be tire adjustments, new characters (or serious version(???) of mech&koha etc), and any other cool modifications.

This is a brilliant project, quality of voice acting is another thing though.

Not bad for a fandub, I think...

C-Ryougi combo movie.

More likely to be a guide video though.

Anyway I really don't care about the tiers: Ryougi's combo is the nicest stuff I've ever seen.

Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU          530  @ 1.73GHz
ATI Radeon Xpress 1250
1790.1MB Memory

Tested it on my laptop with PCSX2 0.9.6, with GSDx 1650 SSE2 plugin.

Working perfect, with little lag.

Also tested progressive mode as above picture, and though it's a bit more laggy to me, graphic quality is much better.

Below, some of the options I used in emulator.

Akiha's Tea Room / Re: Playing online with PCSX2?
« on: August 21, 2009, 11:14:44 AM »
Unfortunately this relates to games meant to be played online, via a PS2's ethernet.  Monster Hunter is played online by default.

Some sort of netplay input hooks would have to be created to play offline games like MBAA online.

~M

I think so... after reading the text carefully.

Anyway there should be a way to play games in PS2 with internet, like PS1 does... the matter is time imo.

If there's a way to play MBAA PS2 online, it will be really fantastic.

Well some games like Monster Hunter can be played online with latest PCSX2 release.

GiGaHeRz did it!! *hic* *wobble*...erm, oh I'd best explain I suppose!

DEV9 is a section of the PS2 which handles a variety of things; HDD, USB and ethernet. GiGaHeRz has been working on one aspect of DEV9, ethernet!

PCSX2 now supports PS2 ethernet, so what does that mean? ONLINE PLAY BABY. On August 30th 2007 GiGaHeRz successfully logged on to the official Capcom Monster Hunter servers and entered a town, briefly after his success I to logged in and joined him!

Subsequently most of the betatesting and development team have logged onto Monster Hunter, interacted with people playing on their real PS2's and even gone questing with each other; including other Monster Hunter players.

This is a significant moment for PCSX2, as we are perhaps one of the first emulation projects to ever let the emulator user connect to a real live official server and play their game online. The only other project we are aware of; that has even come close to this feat would be nullDC (a Dreamcast emulator for Windows).

Testing is ongoing with a variety of online games, and the lack of USB keyboard and mouse support (hopefully to be resolved soon), means PAD typing messages is the only way to communicate online.

This advance towards emulating some of the more "unique" features of the PS2 has once again put into sharp focus the need for you to dump your own BIOS. The specifics I won't detail here, however those of you downloading your BIOS will suffer the consequences.

We shall let you know of further progress with any games we get to go online, but Monster Hunter is a fantastic example of how well PS2 emulation can work, average framerates of 50-70 FPS, with lows of 35 in intense moments. Monster Hunter is utterly stable, I myself have been playing it for some time only noticing minor visual issues on rare occasions.

So here for your pleasure is a video of us just saying hello, and 80 (both general and online) screenshots!...now if you don't mind, we've got alcohol to consume *hic*

Would there a way to play netplay with MBAA?

Maybe some methods like transmitting the keyboard input of player2 to player1 via internet can slove the problem.

Though I think it's the best way to wait for the PC version it's hard having a netplay directly with an emulator,

it seems there is a way to bypass the limitations of PS2 emulator.

Same as original manga artist, Kirishima Takeru.

looks like it was published in May, 2009 so it's not an old stuff right?

Btw Miyako wins!  :-*

Akiha's Tea Room / Any Australian melty players?
« on: June 12, 2009, 02:51:24 AM »
Tomorrow I go to Australia as a university abroad.

I'll be studying there for 4 years and I'm gonna make some foreign buddies.

I wonder if there will be any Melty Blood arcades, or at least a netplayer in the country.

Is there any Australians here? I'm going Perth, Western Australia.

Ah. So why the fuck are no Aoko sprites like the left one? Srsly. Btw, you have a PN.

Then it's clear. There was a misunderstanding from my point.

Glad to hear that, btw email was sent.

Most of the effect sprites are like that, just use the screen option.

Solid edges will disappear like there's no tomorrow

22
How the fuck do you keep the black parts in it although they should be considered transparent in the blending, too? Seriously.

Just don't touch nothing when it's not "partially-transparent", just use the alpha.

When the file is "partially-transparent", use the advanced blending options.

I think there's some misunderstanding with the word "Black stuff".

I mean, this is only possible with alpha channels. And there are no alpha channels in the PNGs or as seperate channel pictures in the zips.

???

The PNG files that I've upload do have a alpha channel. What do you mean?

23
Let me explain it with a picture:

Well though some pixels are strained it looks fine to me...

The extractor has a PNG quality option though I set it to maximum, there could be some data loss.

When you extract it to BMP format you have to work with black matte, so it would be harder working with that stuff.

This's the best answer I can give you, sorry.   :psyduck:

24
I can't seem to download Nanaya's sprites at all.

Well it works fine to me try to re-connect later.

By the way, there are blank pages popping up recently when downloading a file. Is this a download limit or something?

Skydrive is traffic free I guess, try to re-download it later.

25
I meant that even with black "stuff" at the edge, only few of those things are actually usable because NAC's beams e.g. are pitch black. So it's just as the ones from Raj. =/

And you seriously need to look up "alpha channel" :V

Well...? NAC's beams can be composited perfectly in normal blending.

In some effects, like glowing the back layers, cannot be satisfied with only alpha channel, it need's special compositing method.

I guess that's why some effects sprites are looking opaque: used in game as special blending layer.

And if you're gonna use opaque effects stuff, doesn't mugen support blending options?

I don't know exactly :P
