You just need to grind it into your muscle memory, it's pretty simple after you learn how to do it. Until then, just prepare yourself before you go for it.

Kohaku's Magical Garage / Re: Status Bar

Red: Recovering

Green: Cancelable. Depending on which side of the bar it's on, it can mean different things. Left = Normals, Right = Specials. If it's a full bar you can do both.

Blue: Empty cancelable into usually anything. Usually seen on 5A and 2As, but also on things like Warc's j.214B.

Light Orange: EX-cancelable.

Yellow: Now for this one, I've always been confused by it and I still somewhat am. It seems to mean different things for certain moves. I actually think it has something to do with properties only on hit. Take C-Warc's 6C for example, it has yellow at the far right of the status bar for a brief period near the end frames of the move. You can chain here on hit, but not on block.

at that point u might as well put in the ender with the knife toss and the rekkas, thats probably the less harder part.

That ruins the whole point of ending with 2C though.

5BB 2B 5C 2C tk.236B 5BB 214A 2C works. That's pretty basic for H-Ryougi.

30
Yeah, that's the right one. If anybody wants I'll take a photo of it.

Don't forget to mention H-Ryougi's 22C is 1 frame startup  :blah:

C-Moons unblockables are really bad imo because at least half of them seem to have the exact same startup. Even so, held shield into punish beats them for free as long as you aren't falling asleep.

yeah riiiiight  :toot: :toot: :toot:

Welcome to the scene! We actually have quite a few BB players, though most of them are too ashamed to admit it. I'm hands down the best BB player here so if you're looking for comp, play me =D. And of course I'm willing to help you with learning MB if you have any questions  :teach:

Ciel's Tech Support / Re: Stick to play Melty with.

Well, HRAP2 are out of production now. Your best bet is buying one off of Ebay or something, or Cthulu modding a PS3/360 stick.

39
Please remember to pre-register for Akicon by tomorrow, otherwise you will have to pay at the door and won't receive a discount.

40
Awh :( Is taking the bus out of the question?

Melty Breadcast / Re: Feedback Episode 5: State of the Scene

It's also quite easy to make a modded memory card and rip a copy of the game to your computer and patch it to work with it.  Anyone could do this, really, and if we had someone willing to do this for anyone (an informal-"hey talk to this guy if you need it"; to avoid legal issues) available it would be easier to get the game out.

I think this is a great idea and I would definitely do this for people who can't afford the entire set up. I have the data needed to mod and I would burn the 'backup' for them. Mailing memory cards or paypal the money so I could personally buy the card and then mail it.

Regarding the scence, when it comes down to it I really only have myself as a dedicated player to Melty here in WA. The other 2 who are any decent really stray from playing since EVO and it's pretty upsetting. I've got others mildly interested but things like "I don't have a stick! (they could borrow mine, hell they've borrowed others before) I don't have swap magic! (I'm currently offering them to mod their cards and give them a disc)" among other excuses. It's really frustrating that people seem to be dodging the game because they don't want to invest the time when they could just play BlazBlue :/ I'm not sure what to do at this point. I would be more than willing to put things together but I fear that I would lose out on too much money (I'm already pretty poor) due to lack of attendants.

God damn.

45
I've updated the post with a confirmed prizes list (although additions are possible).

Please keep in mind if you're getting a hotel, the Hilton deal ends today.

46
Nobody. Currently the space I have available to house for Akicon is reserved for you guys. So far I have no one confirmed but Press said he's likely to come and Coren has shown interest.

Akiha's Tea Room / Re: What kind of music do you listen to?
« on: October 12, 2010, 04:33:17 AM »
Yeah, so the chances of me running into it on the internet should be smaller.

Not if you go to any music forums. You'll never find anything unheard of, ever :toot:

48
Yeah, my offer's still good for you guys. I've gotten any kinks out of the way so you guys are guaranteed able to stay at my place. There are some other canadians coming down for Akicon (for blazblue) but I've gotten a different place for them to stay. That way you guys can have a guaranteed place for casuals since I'm pretty much the MB guy here.

If that's the only video, then I'd say nobody knows still. That player didn't fight anyone he could easily do the loop on (if you can do it on any of those characters). From what I saw it looked like 3C wasn't changed at all, if anything.

the loop is done pretty easily on v.akiha and shiki tohno, i suppose it's possible they don't know, that combo he was doing was pretty damn good irregardless, i just hate jump canceling specials in this game(only about 3 months into Melty)

Nobody played Tohno in that video?? And I thought the loop was pretty difficult on Vakiha?
