That "for mobile" thing is just one of those barcode things you take a picture of with your phone and it sends you to the mobile phone version of the site.

I wonder how this'll turn out...

They don't really sound all that similar to me, actually.

It might be a little hard to tell, honestly. Almost "Truth from Melty Blood" and "Melty Blood" hard. But the drumming on both in the beginning, and the distortion guitar in Nightmare Teller's background and ... midi guitar/flute thing in the beginning share more or less the same notes. Nightmare Teller's 1:24 to 1:47 seems to be a slower/more awesome version of the other vid's 0:21 to 0:31.

I dunno, I might just be retarded or something. Though if that was the case, I doubt it'd still be bugging me. Unless my brain's playing tricks on me.  :psyduck:

So here's the story.

I was hanging around the MBAA OST topic, and lo and behold, I got the chance to hear Nightmare Teller and geeked out over it.

Sometime later, while I was watching a random video uploaded by a friend of mine, a funny looking thumbnail caught my eye, which lead me to this video upon clicking it.

Now, while I already know that the latter is a doujin parody game, I'd like to know, assuming Nightmare Teller was made especially for MBAA and wasn't in any other MB game before it, how this game was able to contain a parody/remix of it some two or more years before AA was released.

Or, failing that, I'd like to know what song Nightmare Teller and that other song are remixes of.

Your help is greatly appreciated, as this has been gnawing at my mind for the past week or two and I fear losing what's left my sanity soon.

Screw that, I've been using this one for almost three years now and haven't had the slightest problem with it. This includes playing on MANY emulators, mashing Melty, mashing LOTS of DMC3 and 4, mashing LOTS of doujin games, and the occasional Street Fighter Alpha 3 match on my friend's PS3. (YES, the PS3 recognizes this pad and uses it like a regular one!)

That pad is awesome. However, that thing broke on me sooooo many times, I guess I am just unlucky. everyone should try that pad atleast once though, it is a million times better than the ps2 pad imo.

I mashed the D-Pad off mine within 3 months and had to get a new pad because of it. And while the logitech is indeed pretty kewl, I'd rather a PS2 pad. The logitech feels a bit too small and cramped. >_o

Found Nightmare Teller, still on Nico however. Never seen this stage played on before. Has a weird GG feel to it.

A good chunk of the cast doesn't make sense in lore/canon/plot or whatever other excuse you want to come up with. After the first game MB doesn't even force a central plot, just the basic arcade mode plot, so its a moot point.

Actress Again seems to have a plot that differs from Re-Act/Act Cadenza though.

It doesn't work that way. Replacing V.Sion's stage with Bloody Alley wouldn't give Bloody Alley a BGM. V.Sion's stage would take it's BGM with it, and leave Bloody Alley with nothing.

AFAIK, that only goes as far as replacing tracks. You can't add tracks that aren't already there.

... someone needs to make a  video of Neko G666 vs G.Akiha.

It'd probably be really interesting if G.Akiha didn't crash the game at every opportunity she got.

Any particular reason you want only Shadow Town unlocked?

That's the only locked stage has bgm(which mean i can change it by custom 10.p) and I personally love that stage alot :prinny:

I sense G-Akiha will be back :fap:
i highly hope so, because i heard that: PS2 port of Act Cadenza had a G-Akiha Placeholder (founded with Action replay), but it was never used (same for Damien Armies and G666)

It had one for Executioner Ciel too. But I sense those were just leftover data from Re-Act as PC Act Cadenza has G.Akiha/E.Ciel Sprites and leftover Re-Act stages.

Unless they're planning to make an AC Final Tuned or something. *shrugs*



Either way, it'd be nice to see those two again, especially an E.Ciel with a proper moveset.
