Hello, I noticed a glitch in FFA mode.

I am not sure if it's just me but when I play FFA Mode I noticed that I only take damage from the 2nd player (CPU), whereas all of the rest of the CPU (3rd player and 4th player) do little to no damage at all.

Other than that this is really cool thanks bro!

That's... odd. I'll look into it.

Edit:

Wow... I'm... surprised I never noticed that before... Are they even doing damage? It doesn't seem so, considering the game ended in a Draw at Time Out.

I honestly have no idea how to fix this. Except one, and that might fix the white boxes by their names too... Hmm... We'll see. Not promising anything though. Right now, I'm not even sure if what I'm thinking of is possible.

Neco Arc has aerial eye lasers?!

NOOOOO!!!

Also, Ryougi doesn't seem to change too much between styles... like only one move changes?

Eh, we'll see when the trailer's out or something.

Hum, it crashes rather often ingame with FFA mode (nothing else activated with the trainer, just FFA), even without choosing random chars, random colors and random stages. First time it crashed when I heated, second time it crashed while doing a j236A with Aoko.

Hmm...

Well, I see if I can pin down what's causing it... Though FFA is expectedly unstable, as the game wasn't designed to handle 4 different teams at once, I thought I had found a workaround...

Thing is, the only time FFA's ever crashed on me was at the win screen. Though it doesn't happen often. I'll try to replicate what happened to you and see if I can fix it.

Edit:

Fixed. First post updated.

Any news on the progress of the Trainer patch?  I'm interested in the 3 v 1 capability....

The current trainer provides very basic/sketchy support for that. I'm working on a proper way of doing that now. Also, I'm working on fixing an annoying [harmless, but annoying all the same] glitch that makes stages that don't exist pop up out of nowhere after a match or two [+ Patch, not sure if it affects the trainer].

I'll probably update both the trainer and + Patch soon, with both of those things implemented [the fix for the + Patch, and proper 3v1 support, and a little something else for the trainer if I can get it to work right. @_@], so until then, feel free to play around with the current trainer.

I vote for a mode to turn blood back on.

Lets just take a look at this situation for a bit.  You have a game that's not even popular in the United States (In arcades atm anyway) and a community that is not that large supporting it.  Then have that same game ported to an old console where its impossible to update it (Who even knows how smoothly it will run initially.) and with no netplay options.  Then you have blazblue which has everything it doesn't staring everyone in the face.  Will the community die?  Probably not entirely, but it won't be attracting new players or even many of the older players.  This is all assuming its only released for the PS2, if its released for the PC or next gen consoles then ignore this post.

... You say that as though they're releasing the game in the US. o.O

August release for the PS2?!

Niiice.

Hope it's real and not some prank by some user who posted a random date just for the sake of messing with people. ;-;

*Digs around more.*

I just hope they don't pull an examu and fuck the port up. If it is true then I know EXACTLY what I plan on getting for my birthday :V

They can't. AA runs on the same hardware AC did, which isn't the case with AH1 and 2.

Since the port of AC wasn't screwed up, I highly doubt that they're going to screw up the AA port.

Would be nice, but I haven't heard anything from anywhere else, so I wouldn't hold my breath  :slowpoke:

Same here... but... it's Famitsu. o.O

+Patch.
This only applies to character selection screens, not Options menu or something.

Peculiar... It only happens once when you've just loaded the game.  If you pick a character, quit, go back to the character select menu and hit B, you'll exit normally.

Very strange. I'll see what I can do though, having to go through all that extra stuff because you accidently ended up in Arcade by mashing A is annoying. XD

Edit - Fixed. First post updated. ;D

Thanks for pointing that out, dood.

I noticed a bug, if you selected a mode, e.g. Arcade or Practice, you cannot return to the menu by pressing B.

Trainer or + Patch?

Melty Blood Auditorium / Re: Quick question...
« on: March 12, 2009, 10:22:47 AM »

[Starting from Random Select and going downwards...]
1st Blank Stage - G. Akiha Stage
2nd Blank Stage - School Stage
3rd Blank Stage - Old Miyako Stage
4th Blank Stage - Shadow Town
5th Blank Stage - Bloody Alley
1st Weird Stage - Damien Armies Stage
2nd Weird Stage - Black G Stage

Erm... are these all the stages included in the patch? I Remember having the japanese "MBAC+" patch, and it had an old version of Mech Hisui's stage in it...

*Checks.*

... Whoops. Apparently it uses identical data to what random select uses, so I forgot to make a seperate slot for that stage because I mistook random select for it. Thankfully, it seems to be the only stage I forgot to enable though. I'll see if I can up a fixed version as well when I update the trainer.

Edit -

This issue is now fixed. There's an updated English + Patch in the first post.

And a new trainer.

Also:

Best. Match. Ever.

This is old, but thanks for getting it to work with the english version.

I can finally play in Shadow Town again!

You're welcome.  ;)

In other news, I think I'll be updating the trainer soon.

Okay. Will do.

There is no english version for MBAC. its just a patch to translate the game and is unnoficial.

...

D: Wait, it's unofficial? And not an English version? Oh my word, it was unofficial and not only that, it was in some language other than English! Those clever folks have cunningly convinced me that such a thing was perceivable, but alas, 'tis not the case? Damn those barbarians with their wily words wooing me into thinking that an English translated version existed.

*Cough*

Sorry. Please don't hurt me.  :prinny:

Anyway, the, reason I asked this was because... well, I made a trainer and made a + patch that works with the English version.

So um... yeah.

MBAC Trainer
For MBAC 1.03A only. Should work on both the original Japanese version and the mirror moon patch... provided you follow the instructions.

The trainer does... pretty much everything the + Patch can do and a little more. I might also add that 1 vs 3 thing Rowanism mentioned in a later version. Sounds... nifty. I'll definitely look into it later.

Oh yeah, a fun little glitch - Pick Hisui & Kohaku and set the P1 Control Mod to CPU. You [Kohaku] and a CPU [Hisui] vs... Arcade Mode? Survival? Black G? Who knows, it might actually help me make that 1 vs 3 thing if I investigate it further.  :D

English "+ Patch"
A version of the + Patch made to work with the unofficial English translation. Works... pretty much like the other one, except there are a few noticeable differences.  ;)

Instructions:
1] Download the above file.
2] Unrar to directory where the english MBAC is installed.
3] Run it.

D on Kouma - Damien Armies
D,D on Kouma - Neko Chaos Black G666

[Starting from Random Select and going downwards...]
1st Blank Stage - G. Akiha Stage
2nd Blank Stage - School Stage
3rd Blank Stage - Old Miyako Stage
4th Blank Stage - Shadow Town
5th Blank Stage - Bloody Alley
1st Weird Stage - Damien Armies Stage
2nd Weird Stage - Black G Stage

Hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this. Feel free to let me know if I am.

Not that I know of.  Training mode + dummy cpu works pretty well for anything you want to practice for though.

That it does.

I think what he means by trainer is a tool that modifies your damage output or enemy life, in short: cheat tool. There was one for Ver.A that allowed things like 1vs3 fights in Team matches, but not more.

Bingo.

So there isn't one anymore? Okay then.

...

:3

1 vs 3 fights in Team Matches? Sounds interesting...

And I'm guessing the + Patch hasn't made it to the English version either?
