Honestly though, I don't see why TM needed to give 3 whole grooves worth of movesets to an alternate costume. She's fapable enough in the short skirt without the different moves. Specially when the movesets could have been tweaked a bit and given to a completely new character, like SHIKI Tohno. (the crazy blood manipulator, not Banana Shiki.)

Oh well. *raises anti-flame shield*

I don't understand why they made a 3rd version of Akiha. Why couldn't they put in True Tohno Shiki or Elesia instead.  :'( At least Ryougi looks significantly different from Tohno and Nanaya.

My thoughts exactly. If they were willing to spend the time to put together another whole 3 movesets for a new akiha, it seems like it would have been time better spent on SHIKI Tohno. Seems the new Akiha has allot of different shapes for her Crimson Origami, and those designs could have been just as easily implemented for SHIKI's blood manipulation...thing. He's a claw user as well. Look at the the gameplay of new akiha. Now imagine that your seeing SHIKI fighting, and that the Origami is his blood ability (red liquid instead of red hair.) See the potential they just threw away here? As much as I love Akiha, we already have 3 versions of her.... 

Oh well. At least Ryogi and the Bamboo Grove stage are deliciously awesome. Here's Hoping she gets a Kuji Kanesada Arc Drive/Last Arc.

After a few months of lurking I finally decided to register here.

I currently main Warc but I'm working on getting better with V.Akiha and Arc. Right now I'm stuck using MUGEN but I'm working on getting MBAC in the future.

Anyone who feels like doing so may shorten my name to "Les."

Aww, you gotta get off that Mugen shit Les, and go to real Melty!  Mugen made characters don't have the proper hitboxes on them, so it makes the characters different in somewhat subtle ways.

Agreeing with him. MUGEN physics are terribad if your trying to simulate melty blood. The hitbox sizes, falling/moving speeds and accelerations, and moves you can combo are completely different then MBAC. Trust me, Ive been there. Only author i ever found that made decent Melty characters was 9, and even then it was pretty far off from the real thing. If your going to play MUGEN, then don't bother trying to get things as accurate as possible. MUGEN is strictly for fun and lulz, like mix-n-match battles between different series and for making Omega Tom Hanks vs Omega Tiger Woods matches. (Which every MUGEN player has an obligation to do at some point.) While theoretically MUGEN could have its physics changed to emulate Melty, the time and effort to do so just isn't worth it. Plus, Melty actually has a multiplayer community once you get decent. MUGEN.... Not so much.


I was a MUGEN addict myself, so I understand your hesitation to leave. But Melty is superior in just about every way. (and so are most other fighters for that matter)

Think of MUGEN as crack. The more you do it, the more fecked up you get and the harder it is to stop. MBAC is the rehab to get un-fecked.

Drop MUGEN and embrace MBAC. If you don't, you are as criminal.

Well I've been lurking almost a year now, might as well make myself known since im probably here to stay. (Unless MBAA turns out to be a huge flop, but i doubt it.)

Names Grandlordzero, and I contain more pure fagotry then any of you combined. (and im proud of it).

Mainly using this site to stay up to date on the MBAA updates and such. (Riese looks deliciously awesome. Dibs.)

Anyway, I live (if you can call it that) in Gresham, Oregon. (west coaster, but too shitty a player to be a west toaster)

Only character i can play worth a damn in MBAC is Ciel. (Since shes the only character that responds to my face rolling across the keyboard.)

Found out about MB from my escapades in MUGEN. (which is officially over now that Mugen Infantry got ass-raped by the FBI. Fitting end i guess.) Liked MB enough to try it out, and continue to suck at it to this day.

Currently training myself to pull off Ciel's BnB. (and failing miserably). Also reading the translated TM material. (Finished Tsukihime and F/SN, working on F/Zero.)

Il probably stick to lurking for the most part. Just got bored and decided to post really. I'll try not to trouble anyone.
