You must be talking about the F/SN anime :V, there was never a Tsukihime anime ;D....Still thinking about that precious OST cover. :fap:

There's a Tsukihime anime, it's just really bad.

Here's opening to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7sW06aoZns

Melty Blood Auditorium / Re: The MBACPC Custom Music Topic

Worded kinda awkwardly, let me make sure i got this. Your not fond of Artificial Eden, and you don't like how Classic Home Evening Party loops a sound effect at the beginning?

What sound effect is looping on CHEP? (This is the akiha stage were talking about right? the one with the piano bgm?)

Nah, I meant to say that I don't like how Artificial Eden and Classic Home Evening Party almost exclusively repeat the same one sound for the first minute.  It's not literally same sound(starting from 9 seconds to 1:28) it's two piano segments played over and over with slight modifications while the background music slightly changes.  The original uses those same two segments repeatedly but it switches at 42 seconds.

If i can find a remix of Severe Person, il implement it in a heartbeat. Thing is, i haven't found one, so... :blah:

:(

Fair enough. Will change Classic and Great Cat's Village for V2. (Leaving NNYM as is. Objections?)

That's fine.

Criticism fuels my improvement.

Classic Home Invasion has an awkward sounding loop.  I'm not that fond of Artificial Eden, Classic Home Evening Party looping the same sound effect for a minute or so at the beginning.  Original Tohno Mansion Central Garden >>> replacement.  That was one of the best songs in the original imo.  Classic's music is too slow paced.  You should two different songs on Great Cat's Village and NECO NO YOU MAY.  Use MBAA for Character Select, VS, and Winner if you don't want to use Blazblue.

Are you guys really comparing MBAC values to MBAA values? 1: the damage wasnt done to Vakiha so thats more than likely 6.5-7k on her if she keeps her glass defense.

The reason we used VAkiha was because maybe Ryougi has really low defense too, which would explain why the combo does so much damage.  The alternative is that they decided to making SAkiha do massive amounts of damage meterless.

Yeah, but this was midscreen, meterless combo that started with 2a.  Warc 2a5b2bc5c j.bc j.bc does 4.6k without crits or damage reduction (I cant do the extra dash j.b lol).  Nanaya 2ab5c2c5b j.bc j.bc combo only does 4.5k to vAkiha.  Miyako 2a5b6b2bc5c 236a6a j.ac j.bc meterless corner combo does 4.8k.  I imagine the only meterless 2a combos that can touch 5k on her are Akiha and Arc corner combos.  Those take some execution.  For such an effortless combo to do 5k damage, even with shit defense, that is ridiculous.

Edit
According to Benny who tested out the Arc meterless corner combo damage for me, her basic 2a5b2bc5c 5abc 5ab2b4b j.bc j.bc does 5.4k.  One of the highest damage meterless combos in the game, a corner combo with pretty decent execution requirement, does 5.4k.  sAkiha did 5k with an ezmodo combo.  Now tell me that isn't ridiculous.

With reduce damage and criticals turned off, Aoko has 5036 meterless midscreen BnB on VAkiha with 2a5b2b2c5c3c jc jB dj jb jC tj jB jC.  In corner

2a2b6a6b623A starts combo

whiff 2a 3c covers tech backwards, tech forward, and no tech with VAkiha blocking if she neutral techs.  She takes 5125 if she doesn't tech, 6144 if she techs backward, 6918 if she techs forward.

5a5a5b covers neutral tech and missed tech with VAkiha blocking if she techs backward.  Neutral tech results in 7379 damage and no tech takes 5381 damage.

If they respect that enough to not tech, you can do a combo that does 7923 damage(this one actually requires decent execution.)  Heat punish combo with j[C] j[C] airthrow does 4899 damage(real combo does a bit more)

No one thought that Ryougi might have shitty def?
Even with shit defense, that's still ridiculous, imo.

Not really that ridiculous.  A MBAC Warakia BnB ending in airthrow does 4590 to Vermillion with no damage reduction and no criticals.  Considering that Warakia has weak damage with and without meter, the Ryougi only reduced three hits, and SAkiha got one critical, that's not ridiculous.

Wallachia (Warakia) / Re: Wallachia Matchups
« on: May 28, 2009, 11:27:50 PM »
I'd say V.Sion and Sion are about equally bad.  They both rape your air normals and have very tight pressure.  Sion can do more damage from combos but V.Sion can grab you for ~3.5k and has summon setups.

I don't think Wara vs Warc is that bad for him.  I'd put it at 4.5.  Blood rings are ugh but she can't really approach you.  Warachia has problems getting in as well but he controls the stage nicely.  She does a bit more than you do off of a bnb, has stronger pressure, and if your moves ever trade or clash she wins.  If you can block fairly well it's not as bad because you can heat somewhere in the middle of her pressure and get out.  Weaker pressure sucks but Warachia has strong oki if you can land 2C 236C 2C in corner, which is hard to do on her.  Losing clash sucks ballz and the matchup is extremely boring though :(.

Sheild Counter > 5A > 2C > 63214B > 5A > 2C > 63214B > 5A > 2C > 22A > JBJC~
Apparently Aoko has a "Slider Loop" (63214) after landing just a simple Shield Counter. He mentioned that it was character specific or the range of difficulty varies between characters- I didn't get a chance to clarify before he left but I'll be sure to ask next time.

This sounds sexyyyyyyyyyy.  Did he tell you how much damage it does?

I've seen people abroad and in my own smash brothers melee crew win regional tournaments with bottom teirs like roy, pichu, and mewtwo.

What tournaments?  I still play Melee competitively and follow the scene but I can't remember the last time anyone won a regional in the US with low tiers.

A-: C-Aoko
B: F-Aoko
B-: H-Aoko

It's a bit redundant, but they've also started to rank the styles for each character.

Aoko F > C > H

Not very consistent...

Oh, also.  F-Maids are only A-?  The videos of them that Sibla posted made them look a whole hell of a lot better.

Multihit moves are super easy to EX Guard so plant/Hisui assist blockstrings shouldn't rape your guard meter.

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm6415621 (Ryu's F-Wara vs C-Ciel)

Stuff I noticed while watching
C-Warakia
j2C is untechable knockdown.
j421A or B, possibly both no longer put Warakia right in front of his opponent if they miss
You can hit with Nanaya summon during a grab now
Nanaya summon no longer hits full screen away
After j421C, Warakia can get behind characters that are in the corner.  It looks like it's with superjump dodge but I don't know what the command airdashes look like so it might be that.

F-Warakia
The most frequent mixup I saw after j421C was dash(to other side) 2A, hit ~50% of the time  ;D
If orb counter hits you can get a combo off of it

H-Warakia
LOL there are only two vids on nico that I found of him and both are from October 2008, so not version A even.  If you want to see them they're here: http://www.nicovideo.jp/search/H%E3%83%AF%E3%83%A9%E3%82%AD%E3%82%A2

I figured I should make an account here since I want to take Melty more seriously.  I live in NJ and play Warakia and Nanaya.  The only person I've played with any amount of frequency is Lord Knight over netplay.
