Attention all Frame-Data peoples:
In order to make it easier to post and to save on valuable screen space, I've made a list of suggested abbreviations that have been used on Half-Moon Len's framedata.
http://www.meltybread.com/meltywiki/len/half-moon-len/Please use this as a general template for posting frame-data. It's not formatted nicely, but I changed some notation and added spaces after every comma so that the table could add new lines for cells that had lots of crap in them.
Also note that the top headers for the data have been changed or abbreviated.
Advantage -> Adv
VS Damage -> Chip
Guard Damage -> Crush (think of Guard Crush)
Damage Correction -> Prorate
Notes -> *
NOTE: For pages with Frame Data tables, there is a specialized template marked as "Frame Data" that will delete the sidebar from the page. Do NOT use "Default Template" for pages like this or the table will spill over and look derpy.
Active Frame, Formula Notation:10*2(5), 5
- 10 frame active
- x2 multiplier
- (5) frame gap
- , <-- Commas mark a break between hits, ADD A SPACE AFTER EACH COMMA!
- 5 frame active <-- the last hit
Adding the comma with a space afterwards for long formulas is absolutely necessary to prevent the table from overflowing. Please remember this! Also, the same sort of notation is used for damage (multipliers, commas).
Recovery NotationShorter is sweeter! Just use the word "Land" instead of when landing, etc.
Advantage Notation- (D): Down, like a knockdown.
- (L): Launch.
- (S): Slam, aka Wallslam.
Guard Notation- (H): High Block.
- (L): Low Block.
- (A): Air Block.
- All: All Block
Cancel Notation- C: Chain into itself.
- R: Reverse Beat.
- J: Jump Cancel.
- S: Special Cancel.
- EX: EX Cancel.
- H: Heat Cancel <-- easier to use H than I, it's more visible from an editorial standpoint
ProrateFor "Multipliers", enclose them in brackets.
