Liked it on the gamecube but couldn't get online, found psu pretty fun but it just didn't have the same feel as pso.

I'm hoping phantasy star zero will turn out good since having a portable PSO which is more similar to PSO then PSU whith online and no subscription fees would just be too awesome for words.

Newwavemugen no longer exists, the domain is gone forever.  It's been gone since the beginning of April.

My good friend Keith has moved his stuff to www.justnopoint.com where he now hosts his webcomic among other things.
This is the new link.  http://www.justnopoint.com/ggslash/

Thanks! :prinny:

I think it would be kind of cool if they made an anime following the sacchin route to go with the re-release.

Well I seem to be able to play it for pretty much as long as I like with a pad without noticeing any problems with my hands but afterwards they feel kind of stiff lol.

(not as bad as after a long session on guitar hero though, that just kills the fingers lol could barely move them for a while after the first time)

Could you try installing it again on your computer at home and setting the install location to the memory stick rather then program files?

Might be worth a try

Thanks, I managed it eventualy but she did destroy me a few times lol

(was annoying before I found out the work around to the missing retrys lol, dunno why they weren't there after even being default in options though. :mystery: )

Download the english patch from mirror moon and use that to install it, as long as the cd is in your drive it should work.

...What in the world are you talking about?
http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u238/Genereaver/untitled.jpg

I don't see anything about 'retries'.

Well I don't see a story mode on Act Cadenza either lol.

Was talking about reACT (didn't think I needed to mention it because act cadenza doesn't has a story mode and if it was for arc casda I would have posted it in the arc casda board)

Also in responce to the competant remark, regardless of how "competant" you are G Akiha, who's health regenerates thanks to unlimited magic circuit, who does lots of yellow damage with each attack and who is completley inmmune to arc drives is goinng to kick most people's asses the first few times I'm guessing.

Akiha's Tea Room / Where are my retries?
« on: February 21, 2009, 03:27:56 AM »
Well I've noticed the default retries are 2 and can be set to 4 or 0, but no matter what I do the amount of retrys the story mode gives me is always 0, just a short sequence then game over after losing, this is getting really frustrating so does  anyone have any solutions to let the game actualy deliver what it offers in the options menu?

Thanks for any answers (didn't think it should go in tech support since its an in game problem not having trouble setting the game or pad up sorry if it should be there)

Edit: Never mind found a work around, just have to exit to title when about to lose, feels a bit like an exploit but if the system in places isn't working I don't see a reason not to do so.

Phew thanks for the replies, might as well make a start on the story mode tommorow then, thats quite a weight off my mind.  :prinny:

Hi I've been into fighting games for a while and have just picked up melty blood, haven't really picked out a main yet but I'm leaning towards Len or Mecha Hisui, sorry if I end up as a bit of a lurker, don't really have much to say quite a bit of the time lol.

Well although I've heard nothing dodgy about melty blood's story mode I know it's based on a game that isn't exactly family friendly   :P

So my question is the story mode clean or does it have *ahem* dodgy scenes in it?

Really don't want to be playing the game downstairs and have one of those scenes pop up lol so any answers will be appreciated.
