The only thing that stood out to me,is that at the beginning you pointed out the general flow of the matchup(F-Arc vs C-Nero),but then you stopped doing that.

I don't know if thats you being more familiar with F-Arc matchups,but I still think you couldve just taken each of the characters apart and explaining their strengths and and weaknesses.

You dont have to go into detail on how the characters interact with each other,just explain what they do and why its good for them to do it,instead of going 'oh,this char can do that!' in the middle of the match.

These are my 2 yens.

It's probably useless to say this,but the players listed in this thread is only a small fraction of the whole whole western scene.At least in Europe there are countless small communities(usually by country)that play MB and have never come in contact with #meltyblood.eu or MBread or MB.se .

Wouldnt it be easier to just stream the training mode sessions.I dont think streams were that popular before,but now its a viable option I think...

I could use some help with this (I would especially like Curbeh's input), because this is a big chance for us to deliver a message directly to Ecole's CEO.  If anyone wants to bounce some ideas or highlight ideas that are very important, now is your chance.  Because of how big the event, it's only a potential shot, but me and CL will be making every stride.

I've made a thread on brazilian board some time ago for ideas/rating ideias for Melty Blood. We intended to send it via twitter or so, but well.. If you guys agree the best rated are in fact good, that could be a good opportinity. I'll paste them all here so you can see if anything picks your attention...

* Old Options: choose what font will be used for damage (MBR's, MBAC's or MBAA's); the voice for "round 1", "fight", "arc drive finish", etc, and the music to play in character select (MBR, MBAC, MBAA);
* Combo challenge mode: similar to SF trials, to teach the newbies their bnbs and stuff;
* Gamekey: when people pay for it, they take it more serious. Also prevents piracy and gives money;
* Ranked matches: these days a fighter needs it or it'll stay behind other... also promotes competitivity;
* A Story Mode: like there was on MBR, to explain a bit of what's going on and introduce new characters (like they introduced Sion in MBR).
Not to burst your bubble,but the game in 3 months away,none of those options can be realistically implemented.

In addition to Kirito and Genri, Korean CL has confirmed his flight out, making this the first multi-national Melty Blood tournament to ever take place in Japan for Melty Blood Actress Again.
Now thats something to get hype about!
Do you think we'll have a stream?Or do we have to settle for vods?

Im not an Arc expert,but doesnt she already use two wallslams in her combos,that would make 66C impossible to follow-up after.

Asking again though I already know how futile it is, but I was considering making a Nanaya guide with all my knowledge of Option Selects and situational punishes/movement for Nanaya on console now that I've finally gotten my easycap. Is anyone actually interested in this? I know 1.05 Nanaya has a different playstyle, but almost all of the tools and options I can provide should still be there, just not as necessary to know anymore with loldamage and his new setups.

I doubt anyone really cares, but hey, what's the harm in asking, eh?
If youre gonna drop Nanaya for good,then I think you should go for it.All his PS2 stuff should still be helpful since what he got in 1.05 is pretty much on top what he already had before.

If you can get vids and have an audio-only recap(maybe Shinobi will do a Donjon special and you can be a guest)would be awesome.

I've been playing Melty for three or four days now. I play F-Akiha.

Pfhor's all-time favorite anime is Strike Witches, and he's so hyped for the movie.

We've been out here at a convention in Dallas promoting Melty. Although Pfhor's been playing bubble bursting for manchildren (I mean, Smash). Rowan seems to be a great guy. We figured a poster would be good to put up for people to check out. I was so sleep deprived that at point I was just running off the fumes of hype. So at around 4 a.m. I drew up something that took about 30 minutes, if that. So what are you doing to promote the game and why don't you make a poster of your own if you're so artistic? Keep on hating.
If you did the poster Komidol linked then youre awesome!
Also welcome!

Hey there melty bread. After about a few months of having an account here but never using it I decided to start getting into MB. I already know some of the people who post here, as I'm from NJ and have gone to many an anime tournament already. However I wouldn't mind getting to know more people in the scene. I can't say who I want to main yet, but it's probably going to be len as I've watched matches with her and quite liked what I saw. Hopefully we'll all get along.
I need a link to your avatar right now!
And ofcourse welcome!

Doesn't arc drive prorate a lot though? I think in about every F-Nanaya video where the player IH cancels 623B into BE5C into arc drive into follow-ups, damage rarely breaks 3k from a ground starter. The only plus is you can start regaining meter again quickly (but that's obvious).

Of course Keso could just be showboating. I mean if he didn't we wouldn't even be talking about this. :V

You can combo off all of the Nanaya ADs (but not AADs) right? How come I never see H-Nanaya players winning use it?
H-Nanaya's arc drive is actually the AAD version (unblockable and slow).Also 1.05 is the first time where you can combo after AD so I have no idea how the proration is,but the raw damage it does should still add damage to the combo,not to mention you get to do a dash 2C into double dp afterwards which is certainly better than IAD j.C DP.

Lol this fucking game
I dont know why he didnt do arcdrive there,would have been a kill for sure.

hahaha that was ridiculous. maybe he couldve added a fastfall>2nd dp >blahblah to that and actually broken 4k.

as for the arc drive thing, im pretty sure you cant EX cancel past the first hit of the dp anyway so it wouldnt have mattered. unless your talking about arc driving at hit 7 instead of IH-ing which wouldnt have killed either but since you can combo off arc drives now maybe he couldve done some cool shit and ended it there.
Im talking about doing arcdrive after the charged 5C then doing follow-up.

i'll believe it when i see it.

evo's been anti-ANIME for awhile now.

This. 2011's lineup makes me really apprehensive as well to anything else in the future tbh... I wouldn't be surprised if they announced sfxtekken for evo before it even comes out or some shit
Add UFC to that list.
