F-Nanaya vs C-Nero and C-Len vs C-Tohno. F-Nanaya trolling lol

Nero just threw him out of the first frame of Nanaya's shoryu at 2:19 o.o

And 2:33 just gave me ideas...

Nero has one of the strongest throws in the game, if i remember correctly. So shit like that is just lulzy, of course.

Also, I don't think the Nanaya used the best wakeup DP available, as I believe the 623C is best for situations like that, but don't quote me on that.

- after successfully doing EX guard, the opponent's gauge recovery is temporarily lowered.
The hell does this mean? Guard gauge? For the attacker? lol. If so, that's pretty damn hilarious. CC is such a crazy game!

I'm honestly curious myself, especially since that sounds whacky/stupid. Maybe it's actually a decent balance, who knows? Might be a way to counter safe/infinite gay blockstrings now, making the opponent want to use them less?

As for the Len's AAD, it was like that in MBAC too, I believe, so that's nothing too new

have to say the graphical changes look worse than mbaa.  not just something i need to get used to either.  lots of random stuff that seems to have been added just so they could differentiate this version enough to make it worth buying ie bringing back random shitty mbac sound effects (or maybe sound quality sucked on vids).  otherwise, yeah it's mbaa with hairy legs and a victorian dress/sunhat.

I can see stuff like the heat effect and ripple wallslam, but other than those semi annoying visual features, nothing is that bad. At least, imo.

Though I can see heat honestly getting very damn annoying and tiresome. I'm already annoyed by it; that's completely ignoring the ripple effect from the wallslams, too. I mean someone playing Arc is going to see those at least 2 times in their corner combos, each god-damn time. It'll probably get old very quickly..

"Central NJ" made me get hype but when i ran it into googlemaps, it turned out to be South NJ, making what should be in my reigion, central jersey, into south. :<

No hype. :|

It seems that the combo meter now shows how much damage the combo has done within the meter; The damage dealt by attacks doesn't immediately disappear from the health bar, it flashes white for each hit done and then disappears when the combo ends. Also, I see that you can now see the color set a player chose within the new HUD at the top of the screen.

I may be wrong and these may be in the Ps2 version, but I think these are new.

I totally posted in this thread almost 20 posts ago.

So, Actress Again came out. And my PS2 is modded.

So I'm here! Again trying to decide on a main, again getting ready to be stomped by everyone else.

For those of you who didn't know me when I used to lurk the forums post here...

I'm Ike. I'm 20 (almost 21!) and I live in Anchorage, Alaska. I have little-to-no scene (there are a few people I've convinced to play with me, but very few of them actually practice) and don't really have a whole lot of time to practice myself except in the wee hours of the morning. I am currently considering maining H-Roa, but I haven't really decided yet.

The end!

Wow, Alaska!

What's it like up there?

@_@

Despite main belief, it's not always snowing up there. That's a common misconception; other than that i assume it's very very devoid of people in general, let alone Metly players

MBAA has a system where B and C attacks have super-armor from A attacks.

HELL YEA

Eh, wasn't that just a rumor that was disproven? It'd be nice if it is still around, though
Only scrubs get scrubbed out by scrubby shit then complain about it.

I may not be the best player, but watching someone about 5 levels below me do something completely shitty and win multiple rounds because of it is fucking upsetting; Yes I may not be pro but that shit is just stupid and sucks the fun out of it...

MBAA doesn't have nearly as much scrub shit imo

MBAA has no scrub shit.

GTFO

LOL I was saying 'nearly' because i haven't played MBAA nearly enough to be completely certain about that, but i know that MBAC did allow certain levels of it[or at least netplay did...]. DOUBLE GTFO FOR J00

I'm very aware this is a double post but i thought that I should post how successful the event was in terms of management. No complaints, and everything seemed to work out fine. Cute Chick at the register, too. Hahaha. We can definitely use this place as a gathering again if need be...

HOWEVER, WITH THAT SAID:

The fact that only one person bothered to show up and that only 2 people apologized for having to drop it at the last second pissed me off. This wasn't so easy to organize, guys... Blargh

The Broken Characters. God-damn them :|

I know this is kinda late, but can two people bring their ps2's? My ps2 works, but...there's long loading screens and the music will cut off at times. As to why, ask my brother -_-'.

Anyways, thanks; hope tomorrow is awesome!

Final Confirmation was received, guys; it's going to start at 1, and will go on until 'whenever'.

REMEMBER: This is just a test run, as we might not like the place and they might not like us. It's very experimental, and I think it's worth a shot.

imo that ends way too early and most will want to play longer by the time it's finished. Also, with it being a library, it's hard to imagine that MB players will be the quietest people there >_>;

Drinks are 3-4$ a pop, a little overpriced, but they taste dayummm good. Plus if you think that we can use the place for free by simply buying drinks, then yeah~
