Jiyuna lives very close to me? Oh shi-------

Anyways Jiyuna, if you're free, I'd be very happy if you could do that for me. Once I get a car I'll be sure to car pool as well, though i don't have one yet...

Major Edit in my post, date has changed from Oct 10th to Oct 17th; this is because this date seemed to be on such terrible timing for so many people that i decided to change it. With that said, PM me or post it here if you're available Oct 17th, gaiz.

Honestly, the only buses i know of around here don't even get close to said place. It sucks, I know; and i also can't provide much rides.

I might be able to as time goes on, but for now I do not have a car. As far as public transportation goes, there actually is a stop, but it is followed by a 20 minute or so walk, not including  the buses required to get there in the first place. So that's pretty much out of question I'd assume; I'd be all for picking said persons up at the bus-stop at "Arrive State Hwy 27 & Talmadge Rd." But I'm seriously not sure if i can get the car needed to do so yet. If someone else can do something like that, I'd be ultra grateful, though I am aware that is going out of your way, so it's okay if no one can.

I'd have to talk to my 'rents about the car issue, though I'm not sure that will work out. You can also use the google maps link provided, click 'get directions', then click by 'public transit' tab, fill in A [your position, B should already be filled] and find out how you can get there. I'm not done ironing this all out yet, but I'm trying to make this all come together nicely

Regional Community / Awesome NJ hosting spot
« on: October 03, 2009, 03:39:40 PM »
After some talking business and working a deal out, I've found a spot in Edison New Jersey that will allow us to play Melty Blood at their spot. It can hold roughly 20 people, maybe more. It's also open til roughly 1-11pm each day, and I've worked it out so that we don't even need to pay for a permit or commission anything of the sort to use it. The hosting spot, Fusion Ti, only wants us to by some drinks from their store. [That's all they really do, it's more of a hangout spot in the first place that makes money by selling drinks, many of which are  Bubble Teas; allowing people to hangout, and having free wi-fi if you bring your laptop.] The Bubble Tea is actually quite good there, so make sure to buy some if you come. Of course they have some juice and coffees as well, but no alcohol. Let's not push it.

Anyways, like i said, after talking to the manager he said it'd be fine if we could host an event there this once to see how it goes, so let's try to make a good impression, guys! If we make this not only profitable for the manager but a good daily spot for Melty Games, not only will the NJ Melty community soar, we'll be able to play each other during the week if possible [assuming you don't live that far away from the spot] without having to just stick to weekend matches over people's homes.

That said, in summary, this is how it'll break down:
1: It'll be Saturday, that is Oct 10th 17th, from roughly 1pm to roughly 10 pm [possibly shorter, i have not arranged all the details with the manager as of yet].
2: Since this is just a 'we'll try and see how it goes' session, make sure to make a good impression, guys! Shower before you come, and make sure you buy at least one drink each. Try not to be too rowdy or obnoxious, though having some fun is of course allowed.
3: If we make a good impression, it's quite possible this can become a daily routine, BUT that's if we make a good impression.
4: We're going to want at least 4 people to come, so if you're free this saturday and want some melty, please come! The more people we bring, the more possible this will all become!
5: Directions can be found here - http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=501+old+post+road+08817&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=34.861942,78.75&ie=UTF8&ll=40.525152,-74.374266&spn=0.008173,0.019226&z=14&g=501+old+post+road+08817&iwloc=addr&source=embed
6. Drinks are 3-4$ a pop

I've really tried hard to get this all together, so please make an effort yourselves, guys; try to come! I look forward to meeting you all for the first time.

P.S.: The details for this might change as i get in contact with the manager and completely get this event together, so make sure to check for edits later on during the week.

P.S.S.: If you're planning to come, either PM me or simply message me here, but don't just randomly show up; i need to give the manager an idea of how many people will be coming. I won't say no, anyone is welcome, just you gotta let me know at least 1 day ahead of time

Thanks, I'm sure me and what few MB scrubs are left will appreciate this. [Even though I'm migrating to MBAA very soon]

Semi-Necromancing, but GO FOR IT. I play on TS[ghetto ventrilo] with what few people I can, and we usually have a blast doing it. Plus it's just alot easier to talk and crap; so yeah.

Oh, is that why? The frames actually being alot more forgiving seems to be screwing me up if anything, IRONY...

So i'll just try to 29 instead.

SJ stands for super jump. if you press 2 and then 8 or 9, then your character will do a super jump either straight up[8] or diagonally forward [9].

MBAA has a special feature where multiple characters now have the double super jump, which is where you'd make the second jump of your combo or whatever a super jump, performed by precise timing of 9 immediately after a C or something of the sort. That's how you performed doubler supers in MBAC, anyways, and i doubt they changed that much.

So, super jump high, SJ8, or SJD, Super Double Jump

I'm from NJ, MBAC i played Arcueid and Nanaya along with some Tohno, [Weird mix, huh? Like, ultra scrub material combined with some pro one. Makes no sense.]

As for MBAA, I've no idea who I'm gonna main, so many styles out there i dunno who i want; plus Arc combos' are even harder now..@_@

And about the scene...Wait, what scene? There's like none where i live, methinks; i'm gonna try organizing a super local MB fest. Or try.

Regional Community / Mid-NJ Melty Player
« on: September 26, 2009, 06:39:41 AM »
I'm a relatively new player to Melty Blood, or at least many of you have never heard of me before. I wanna start trying Melty within anyone in NJ, this weekend if possible. I plan to try to play in NYC later on, but I'll go small first and choose some NJ play first. That said, anyone doing anything this weekend? If so, might if i hit that up? Or does anyone plan do something this weekend? I'm free Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
