I talked to Armando about the possiblity of putting it in a dual cab. It's could be done. Just gotta prove that ppl are willing to play it and put quarters in it. 3S, MVC2, and CVS2 are dual cabs for that reason.

Melty was successfully installed at Super Arcade.

https://twitter.com/Numakie/status/389144071815442432/photo/1

Currently it is in the Viewlix cabinet. 1 quarter per game. A little bit of display lag, but I feel it is tolerable.

I'll need to obtaia VGA splitter before I can capture on the cab. That will be my next to obtain in addition to a HDMI Capture n device.

Then maybe some events at super as well.  ;D

Appears so. I remember that cab being a bit more spacious. Guess we'll find out.

Also i overheard tetris moving to another cab. Can't verify at this time though.

Hmm. Interesting.

Another thing I know: if you are receiving a High/low mixup, you can Bunker (214D) to invalidate it. Bunker shield covers High and Low.

Course the opponent can just Throw against a shield.

Was fun playing at Rebel Up last night. Played more Chaos Code & Melty then I expected. Also was a plesant to see Nostalic & crew come down the last few hours.

As for future comings.

- No Melty @ Japan arcade next friday (Oct 4) I'ma be trapped in Temecula.

- Nostalgic is running an Event on alternate fridays. you can go here for more info. http://www.meltybread.com/forums/tournaments-and-events/csun-bi-weekly-fight-nights-927-northridge-ca-california-state-university-of/

- There will be a Rebel Up @ Super Arcade after the release of BBCP. I'll have my setup there as usual.

- I'm pretty sure San Diego is holding something that has Melty & other fighters. I'd be nice to get more info on that, or a post on another website that has that. If anyone knows, please post here, since i have no idea whats going on away from LA.

Thats it for now. If there are any other local events, you can post here and ill be sure to add it here.

On another note....

-Rant mode-

I really do wish Melty was at super. I'd attempt something there as well if that were to happen. Maybe i can trick GG and Marvel heads to play it... and Armando as well. Then also have Watson look at the game strangely.  For it to happen though, it'd have to be something provided by the ppl. Cabs and board aint cheap.  I'll see if i can get more info on the possibility.

-End rant mode-

Saturday, Aug 10: "Rebel Up" @ Super Arcade. Event starts @ 2.00pm. I'll probably run MB & AH3 at 5p.

Kohaku's Magical Garage / Re: "Reversed" Instant Air Dash
« on: June 29, 2013, 02:19:00 AM »
Characters who have good range air moves, and specific Dash animations, can benefit more from this, like Len or ries. But, if you use on the corner, even characters with low range moves can hit, like H-Arc j.b, C-Miyako j.b, F-Akiha j.C, F-Seifuku j.C, etc...

Can't be done as demonstrated with F-Moon characters unless said character has amazing hitboxes that reliably hit crossup on a j.A (which is...no character that I'm aware of) since they can't airdash cancel their j.Bs and j.Cs.

You can still IAD after a jB/jC.  I'd imagine the input would be like: jump in jC > 7/9 (to double jump) > 4/6 A+B (i use A-B dashing constantly).
