I might want to buy that MB DVD since it looks its the only way to see that tourney...

I didnt find any info on web about that... and since it will cost a lot of money (around 30% of a brazilian minumun salary) I would like to know if at least there are plenty of fights... if its only top8 or top16 I wouldnt buy... I'm sure someone here might have bough an SBO DVD before... so can you tell me how is that? what does it includes and stuff?

man, I hate Ciel, but actually my favorite match was Brandino vs H-F Blade cuz they actually blocked xD

even though I was cheering for Kusa, I didnt like much Kusanagi vs Garu because they were playing unrespectfully: dodging, dp'ing and mashing... well... I guess in tourneys you gotta show your offense and stuff... but still... I prefered Ciel vs Ciel lol

too bad games are only 2/3, but hey, that was hype :DD... my favorite players were LordKnight and H-F Blade

those might have been tough matches :O I see a lot of tough players didnt make it to the top8. even only 1 JP player made it :o. How many JP players there were in the end? by the way.. how many player there were in total? =o

if you dont like turtle mode, what is sad, you can turm your opponent into non-turtle grabbing a lot and doing mixups after it. anyway if your opponent is too much on defensive you can always use throw -> mixups, you can j.b on block dash j.b as a kind of slow fuzzy guard (using it you will make your opponent try to jump out of your pressure more often), so you can use the kohaku classic anti-jump style, but dont forget a throw isnt suppose to do damage, its suppose to get you time to do a mixup, which, no matter if your opponent is turtle or not, will be hard to block.

Indeed xD. But he choose to use Nero, so it's not like he played seriously. He told me he didnt know there wouldt be losers bracket, so he was unworried... But that was in the rules, so...

Anyway Azura who won this championship lost by w.o. in the first championship and didnt enter the second, so its like there isn't strongest player. :V

actually there are 2 notable combos + the rejump combo and character specific one

some comparations with the 2a5b2b4c2c5c2b aircombo

2a5b2b5c2c3c j.bc dj.bc ad.bc grab will hit 4904 on v.akiha
2a5b2b4b2c5c3c j.bc dj.bc ad.bc grab will hit 4913 on v.akiha

2a5b2b5c2c3c j.bc dj.bc ad.c grab will hit 4785 on v.akiha
2a5b2b4b2c5c3c j.bc dj.bc ad.c grab will hit 4802 on v.akiha

if after 5c2c the character is too far for 3c to hit you can always summon.. or you can choose to use 2c5c3c instead if your reflexes allow to think that fast.. actually there are no benefits using this combo but to cut the 4b from the chain.. if its on block you can finish with a low atk, but thats not big of a deal.. oh, and if you confirm with b, this combo will always hit more then the other one (when you have time to aprox and punish you can use this, confirming with b.. hint to keep close of your oponent: do 2c as soon as you can after 5c, and 3c as soon as you can after 2c.

now on fat characters (I dont know everyone this works) but I'm sure in nero you can add 4b to that combo and this will hit more then both above, but it requires you to be close of your opponent.

about combo after summon akiha kicks:

I'm still not sure of it, but these are so far the most damaging ones I found.. after Akiha kicks, always 6(c).. now.. sometimes it will crossup, sometimes it will not.. it depends the distance you hitconfirmed, and the timing you did the 6(c).. the timing may chance according to the hitconfirm.. but its ok.. there is a generic follow up

crossing or not you can always 6(c) 2c5c3c aircombo

if your oponent didnt crossup above your head you can do after the 6(c) a 2(c)

not crossing 6(c) 2(c) 5c3c aircombo

I was going to create a video with every hitconfirm variation crossing and not crossing but then I realized hey! its the same combo, its too much work for not much since the idea is still there.. then there are only the 2aaa and 2aa hitconfirm variation.

j.c is annoying in combos.. its annoying being comboed by the same atk all day.. I dont even try reduce damage or I'll get my hands hurt.. and deers are ok, they dont make his game annoying.. now.. mantis arms are annoying >.<

the point isnt nero is strong or not

the point is he is annoying.. the way his gameplay is suppose to be played is annoying, cuts the game of the other players.. thats probably why most of ppl hate playing nero

*nero hater mode on* because nero controls space too much and dont let the other players play.. if you dont always block you'll be catched soon or later by cheap moves.. and then the annoying combo hoaa hoaa hoaa is disturbing.. plus nero has a good defense modifier and have all those annoying normal moves.. also because nero cant move fast a lot of player will cut even more your game with nasty exits: shield, mash, 66... I personally hate playing against nero... the only ones I hate more are nekos and ciel =x
