Well Bang was my first choice when I picked up Calamity Trigger and I don't think it will change no matter how re-balancing changes things.

A true man sticks to his character (a true man also picks the manliest character).

That means a true man picks Tager

Tager is owned by kokanoa and probably has a robotic penis. Though he does have Soviet strength. Hmm... in terms of manliness I say it would have to be a tie.

I have many low level characters but the better ones are

lvl 23 Asura: Gen_Tobias
lvl 18 Ranger: Gen_Tobias3rd

I rarely play I started when open beta started but then quit when I got frustrated with how long it took to get from lvl 22 to 23.
Seriously no quests and a the hardest dungeon I can do has enemies with superarmor which I need to play about 20 times over for a level (if I manage to beat it).

SWR = Random as shit. Fun for casuals and people who don't give a fuck about learning a touhou fighter and just want to dick around with a buddy. Get drunk, laugh @ weather/spellcards/borderescape/whatever, mash butons, then circlejerk to loli's. Rinse, repeat.

IaMP = The actual fighter.

That sums it up. Why has this thread lasted this long?

As for figuring out how to play, L2internet.

/thread

On a not entirely unrelated note, PROTIP: If you don't want to get nerd-raged at on a forum, don't post stupid shit.  :teach:

so SWR is like any given Super Smash Bros Game works for me why wasn't that said in the first place.

meh no biggie really. I just regret making this thread. It seemed to work on dustloop so I thought I would try it here (I'm rather new to forums in general).

I also have no idea what a border escape is so it looks like I'll have even more to look it up. anyways I think I admitted earlier that I had no way to argue which game was better so I would appreciate if that is left alone(I'd almost rather this be an empty thread).

I guess its my fault for trying to tell people about a game I'm rather new (a few months off and on) to.

I will also ask you guys not to hold a grudge against me (I'm really not sure how this whole forum arguing thing goes).

Im a fighting game fan and started playing TH 12.3 because I was looking for fighting games. after that I thought I would look at other touhou games because I kind of like shmups. but as it stands Ive been a fan of fighting games first.

the thing is I can't argue against IaMP over SWR or Melee over Brawl because I have only played the games that are said to be crappier in those arguments. the only similar argument which I can think of that I would identify with is Street Fighter 3: third strike vs Street Fighter 4. but I get the odd feeling someone will say SF III: a new generation was funner and then I won't be able to argue.

well that and the only fighting game I've run into that I think is a complete piece of garbage would be Million Knights Vermillion. Also Street Fighter 4 was disappointing.

lastly I'm able to find a faq for IaMP easily its just the game is near imposible to figure out completely without one. How am I supposed to know you have to push 22 D to be able to bomb and activate a mode that lets you use supers and you have to hit someone while bullets are on the screen to refill your bombs. its just not intuitive to a fighting game is all I'm saying and there is no in game tutorial for these things and even fiddling around in practice mode I didn't figure that out until I read about it. though it is safe to assume if you found the game online it should be just as easy to find an faq which it is.

well did not expect the thread to go like this but since everyone already knows what it is and doesn't like it I think I'll remove the images due also to that thing that one person said earlier.

looks like I need to play IaMP then Ill get back with my opinion on which is better

also I am rather new to Melty Bread so cut me some slack here

Edit: well one thing I learned from the get go IaMP is much less intuitive without some kind of faq.

seeing as it is a fighting game I'm surprised no one has made a thread yet especially when there is a touhou 12 thread.
anyways touhou hisoutensoku is a projectile based fighter but when players get more skilled they just dash through your projectiles and melee you to death with projectiles linked into the combo because melee attacks do much more damage than projectiles. still overall it is a fun game and thought I would start a thread.

hello I am General Tobias and I don't know why I shortened my name oh well I am rather inexperienced at Melty Blood and am also rather new to forums in general. I am from Texas (which I am saying mainly for the sake of netplay). I originally got MBAC about 6 months ago but I hate playing a game without backstory so now after playing all the Tsukihime, Tsukihime + disk, Kagestsu Tohya, and Melty Blood story mode I can continue with MB reacts arcade which I have completed Nanaya Shiki, Arcureid, and Tohno Shiki's storys. Seriously It may be another few months before I actually get around to getting MBAA which looks awesome. plus I must add the spell check on this thin wants to change too many things
