2) Find a JP Character Wiki
3) Practice those combos

Um...Yeah, for the people who can be bothered.                My friends will be getting BB:CT in about a week after much persuasion by myself, (yup that's right folks it just came out in europe, aren't we wacky us europeans?) They will definitely NOT be trawling the web for combos.                                                                                                     Why? because it's kinda boring and they don't take it very seriously, like most people. I'm pretty sure if they had input instructions for a few BnBs then they'd probably bust that shit out and actually stand half a chance against someone sorta clued up.

I pray for a "spammer" on SF because i'll just jump that shit and get a free combo, but if there any good then they won't throw an FB in jump distance much. (except in a block string)                                                                                                                                        I still find i'm always the one who's on the offensive though. Everyone just kinda sits there online on SF4.

Heh i only just noticed that Noel-bot has blue eyes instead of green, Anyone hear about that challenge mode? I find it kinda funny that SF4 has a trail mode to more or less teach you combos when it would be way more useful on BB.

My friend Stephen brought his PS2 round and it worked, me and 3 of my mates played it for about 8 hours straight, it was the best night in i've ever had. I think i'll need to buy another ps2 then, replacing the lens probably isn't much cheaper anyways.                                        Update: One of my friends "donated" me his PS2 (thanks Ash) and it works fine, love the game and so do my friends. lronicly i think that MBAA is way more accessible than BB, I have watched my friends noob it up on both games but they just seemed to get the hang of MB way faster and were doing some cool stuff just by stringing normals and specials together. (something which doesn't happen on BB) Everyone i've had play MB said they preferred it to any fighting games they've played before.....Oh dear, i seems i went off topic again.                                                         PS: i still really like BB though.

O.K thanks, my MBAA hasn't even arrived yet anyway, it took play-asia 10 days just to ship the damn thing (FML!) and i'll likely have to wait 10 more with my luck.

I know your pain.  I ordered mine the day it came out, and it didn't arrive until the day after I'd left to go to the first WC melty gathering for MBAA.  Everyone else, of course, had already been playing it emulated for those two or so weeks that I was just waiting.

Dang, sounds harsh. I think i may have named this thread wrong though, i guess it should be "PS2 lens problems" right?

Hi i just ordered MBAA after seeing some videos on youtube and i thought I'd best sign up here, (should only be a couple of days till it arrives) I'm a GG/BB player originally and Melty Blood just seems like my kind of fighting game. Oh yeah my name is Jake and i live in England which as far as i know has no fighting game community whatsoever.
