@ Dippy's Lolidunking Mix:

Nice ghetto, yet functional, loop on the character select screen. Oh shit, I heard Horizon. Oh, and how did you manage to pick my 2 favorite songs off of Hardcore Syndrome for the night and day field stages? I heard some MM2 Wily's Castle theme in there.

Major problem on NAC's stage though: The audio is fully panned to the left.

There are some other songs in there that I recognize but have been too lazy to point out.

Track listing if you're so inclined?

The new announcer sounds... interesting.

At least it's not as bad as Accent Core's one. He ruined HEAVEN OR HELL for me. :(

So, wait, does this mean that MBAC uses OGG for music data?

I think I love this game even more than before.

brawl isn't come out till jesus is announced in the game.....

He'd be broke as all hell. Revival, inability to be anything less than perfect, etc...

I usually kick back, put on my headphones, launch foobar2000, and listen to some music. While doing this I will typically play a game chosen from my game folder. One of my favorites is Heboris (Unofficial Expansion), a Tetris clone for Windows. (if you want, I'll share with you how to get it). If it's not that, then I might choose some sorta danmaku game. Then again, those aren't always the most stress-relieving.

Or, failing that, just spend some time resting. By resting, I mean in a bed, eventually falling to sleep.

Aside from me laughing? No, I don't think he does.

That right there is a Prinny.

Taken from Wikipedia:
Quote
Prinnies are a fictional race of creatures in Nippon Ichi's turn based strategy RPGs. They are usually found in the various realms of the company's numerous strategy games, making their first appearance in Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.

A prinny resembles a small, usually blue, pouch-wearing penguin with disproportionately small bat wings and two peg legs where feet would normally be. When thrown, it explodes on impact. A common trait of the prinnies is their upbeat attitude and frequent use of the word "dood" (as an interjection - they constantly end their sentences with "-ssu" in the Japanese dialogue).

So, I'm down for this Aoko training. Count me in. I already sub her (KohaHisu takes the main spot. It's just too damn easy/fun to dish out damage with broom rape), so maybe with some effort, I can actually do decent/awesome stuff with her.

Trackmania is a racing game with physics that will make a seasoned Mario Kart player punch holes into the wall. The focus is more on tracks with all sorts of crazy stuff going on as opposed to outright racing a bunch of people on a track.

This dude can see lines and dots and stuff, and can kill things by tracing them. There's also some vampires and other shit. Oh, and this dude gets to bone a bunch of chicks along the way, including his sister and maids.

I recommend X-Chat Aqua. Also, last time I checked, running MBAC under Mac OS was not too fun (even when using virtualization).

I wish you luck in your Aoko journey. I suck balls, so I'd probably annoy the hell out of everyone, haha.

Also, the technical term for "NAT punching" is "UDP hole punching". :V

I take no credit for discovering the original images though. The name escapes me, but someone snooped around the program and found those graphics in it.

I have however noticed that the "other" New Year's screen Nanako mentioned shows up after you let it play the intro movie (or let it do whatever else it does while idling at the title screen).

I say there's still one more issue left: Player naming. :V

Ephebiphobia- Fear of teenagers
This is officially the most fcuked up phobia of all

EDIT: after scrolling a little bit down on the phobia page...
Eurotophobia- Fear of female genitalia. LMFAO

You think that list is bad? Try looking at the list of paraphilias. Some of the more bizarre ones:
  • Autoassassinophilia: sexual arousal from fantasizing about or staging one's own murder
  • Dendrophilia: sexual attraction to trees and other large plants.
  • Homeovestism: sexual arousal by wearing the clothing of one's own gender
  • Kleptophilia: sexual arousal from stealing things
  • Pyrophilia: sexual arousal through watching, setting, hearing, talking or fantasizing about fire
  • Tamakeri: sexual arousal from having a male kicked in the groin by a woman
  • Telephone scatologia: being sexually aroused by making obscene phone calls to strangers

As for fears, let's see... Yeah, looking down from high places gives me the chills. I can also say that I have a fear of the unknown. If I don't know what'll happen for sure after doing something, I sometimes don't do it. However, these are fears that have some sort of rationalization.

Kohaku's Video Room / MBAC: Stupidity Exhibition
« on: December 30, 2007, 11:52:35 PM »
This video is a tad bit different from the displays of technical prowess or instructional assistance of others. This goes in a whole different direction. It's probably a retarded direction, but it's a direction nonetheless.

If I can't combo for shit, I might as well take vids of me doing lollable things. It is with this that I present to you...

MBAC: Stupidity Exhibition

Technical info:
Captured using FRAPS, 320x240 60 FPS (even then, the raw videos are still huge. :psyduck:)
Edited using Sony Vegas 7

NetPlay Community / Re: Mauve's MBCaster
« on: December 29, 2007, 09:54:38 PM »
Well, basically, mauve is implementing features from Cowcaster, his own mod of IaMP's Caster. Those features happen to kick ass. The only big things that I know aren't implemented yet are player naming (so you can have replays with the players' names in them when using auto-save) and custom palettes (which I doubt he'll even work on since MBAC has so many palettes anyway).

Everyone loves Super Mario Bros and Super Mario World, right? What about when the difficulty is cranked up to extreme degrees? Is it fun then? Maybe not so much. Is it funny to watch? Yes it is.

So, after a long chain of SMB and SMW ROM hacks, someone over on the other side of the Pacific decided to make a game based on SMB. One catch: Nothing is how it should be. Powerups hurt you (usually), pretty much all pipes are unfriendly, invisible coin blocks are scattered about, parts of the stage will fall out from under you or on top of you, and just because you hit the flagpole doesn't mean you've beaten the level. This is Syobon Action.
Featuring music from Cheetahmen II and Spelunker.

Some Youtube vids of each level:
Level 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIXRgppi04M
Level 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHx2vM4a-K4
Level 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=733wle0LQtI
Level 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALmRIfrmNFc

(And a vid of me playing the entire game and only dying twice on the final level: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25ppxl9eNEw )

To be fair, the game isn't TOO difficult once you've seen what all the retarded traps are. However, if you don't... well, good luck.

That's more of a for loop, and it's System, with a capital S. :V

But we should probably stop all this code-wankery and get back to auto-piloting.

I just got 1400$ dollars, since I don't want anything.  :)

This is a very sweet route to go down.

I don't run on autopilot, I run on an if statement.

if ( Nero = inTheAir) goto.jC;
else goto.4C;

TERRIBLE PROGRAMMING. Let me fix it up just a tiny bit.

Code: [Select]
if(Nero.inAir()) jC();
else 4C();

Akiha's Tea Room / Re: Happy Birthday ARCUEID!
« on: December 26, 2007, 09:57:31 AM »
so arcueid is jesus, therefore jesus was a vampire? and a chick?

Jesus is whatever you want him (or her) to be. For some, it's Toki's Fatal KO. For others, it's Arc. For some, it's a raptor. For those other boring people, it's some guy who became a carpenter and then got crucified. To each his own.

75
Then share the wealth! :V

Well, let's see, here's what I got:
- iPod video (installed Rockbox on that fucker, hell yes.)
- Some slippers (thank GOD, I needed a new pair)
- A robe (didn't expect this. All I need now is a pipe.)
- Some shirts and pants and a belt
- MONEY
- MONEY
- Oh, and MONEY
