Reaching back to the main topic, I recently tried reinstalling Oblivion. Mouse and keyboard input failed out after a few minutes.
Some research reveals that this is related to AUDIO CODECS? Installing old games makes me sad some days.

The data types are so radically different that you NEED a converter, and I know of none that exist.
Another option, however, is that you have a 360 TE, and piggybacking a Cthulhu board onto those is a commonplace action. Piggyback a Multiconsole Cthulhu with a PS2 cable off it, and you'd have one stick for both systems, and later could add an Imp to have PS3 and 360 both on the USB side.

DP, commandline SHOULD work under 0.9.6, which is why I'm asking both here and on the PCSX forums. Because a lot of people have 0.9.6, maybe someone could test it out or they may know if I'm doing something wrong.

Because Hyperspin Frontend can pass the parameters through commandline to load whichever game I choose, thus making PCSX2 a reasonable inclusion in my MAME cab.

I'm trying to set up PCSX2 to run commandline, but it basically ignores everything, specifying an iso, -bootmode commands, anything I throw at it. I know 0.9.7 doesn't have commandline, but does anyone else have 0.9.6 and could try this out?

Try switching from inner six to outer six or vice versa. Also, try sitting the stick some other way. I've seen people play on the floor with their leg arced over the stick, putting it on the ground.

E is an arcade accurate button. It handles most double button inputs very well, as sometimes you can be one frame off on A+C or somesuch and Melty will simply laugh at you while you get punished for your error.
