I treat anime as a medium, not a genre, and think that should be the end of it. Some people like oil pantings, others like charcoal drawings. Some like punk rock, others like... rap... but we won't get into that. So basically, like any medium, it's going to have a broad spectrum of garbage, and a few gems.

I rather like the plot of Darker Than Black, has been keeping me guessing for a while now.
Claymore is good, but it's fairly predictable. Doesn't stop it from being deliciously mean to it's characters, though.

I have definitely confirmed lag on the radioshacks. They're marvelous for anything that isn't so precise you need frame-level accuracy, but nogood for melty.
