Well, that's too bad, cuz Russia is so big that you'll probably get high delay with one of the players. From their netplay videos, it seems that even between them that happens.

But yes, an European tourney is what it's likely to turn out, IF there are MBAC players in Europe still.

So, per the manual, if I want to make P = Circle, should I hold ESC and press B, then P? (Assuming I'm in standard setup)

You're welcome, Cristu, it was lots of fun, having 20+ ppl obliged to pay attention to me is like, what I always wanted =D
And besides, anyone could have done my job (tho not as sexyly as me)

Kudos to everyone who played and pretended to laugh at my silly jokes, hope we get a chance to play decently someday, be it real life or real low delay. (and I want you to know I didnt really mean those threats)
Btw, if you want to you can upload any of my matches, doubt anyone would want to do that anyway.

Took long enough for someone to make a joke xD

Thumper's law on you, man =x
But seriously, if you have access to MBAA and people to play with offline, good for you, doesn't mean everyone else does so don't be a shmuck like others.

Hello, fellow players, I'm here to announce that after the events of the Melty World Tournament, some of the people involved felt there was a need for a space where those who REALLY still play MBAC, be it on low or high delay, could just gather and arrange matches or talk about the game.
Thus, we registered a channel on the IRCHighway network to bring people around the world together, hoping to create that free space. We're still just starting, but eventually we hope to have enough people so there are many choices on who to play with.
For those IRC illiterate there is the webchat, it's pretty simple to use and I even made a quick tutorial that helped in MW and you can read in 2 minutes. You're all invited.

- Webchat
- or enter #MeltyMemorial@irc.irchighway.net

Properly, he means. Say where you're from and your choice in number of matches to play.

how can you even play above 4 delay, shit's unplayable
It's playable. Ppl like to call it Melty Chess. Because, you know, you gotta think ahead.

IMO, there are two ways of looking at it.
1. I'm gonna lose since me is not used to that.  :psyduck:
2. I'm gonna win cuz they is not used to that.   :slowpoke:

Anything else is just  :blah:
Delay is delay... if you can play 4 (100ms) you should be able to play 7 (200ms) with some degree of effort (and patience). Who knows, having to actually use (more of?) your head while playing might miraculously improve your game.  Now, if you're not willing to make that effort (and don't mind passing the chance of having some fun, at least), that's up to you.

I'll join just for the lols.
That's what I'm talking about!! Oh... I thought you meant lolis.
