what time is this going to be? depending, I can give people rides and what not since I'll be going down to SJ that night anyway. If it's later in the day, most likely a no for me.

Apparently NorCal is ganging up to get me to buy a stick. I was sooo close to agreeing to get one till my pad took out Magz in the team tourney. There is some hope for pad players yet!

you're getting one this week sir, hrap3 for 89.99? come on now.

whoooo, mad hype y'all. And it's over mah bitch (YEAH, I SAID IT. MR. BLUE USA). Good to see y'all holding grudges for that motivation to step it up.

damn, i wish EC would get that fired up for greatest aoko (or playing aoko in general). when it's all said and done, best WC aoko fly out to NYC for best Aoko in the nation.....WHAT!  >:( <-- hype face

no ones on your level yet in WC, well maybe in socal, it's not like i'm gay enough to keep track of rosters. As for Akihas, man everyone plays Akihas in the bay, Sync's Akiha is pretty sleek, there's obviously Dakanya with his Akiha stick and even Trickpat is coming up with his Akiha skill, I don't know what's gonna happen. As for me, my execution, consistency and dedication is always in question, but that's a whole nother story. lol

The day was pretty epic, it was great fighting/seeing a lot of you guys and I got lucky on a lot of the matches. My sides still hurt from all the laughing. Happ is gay btw.

Tsu - Thanks for carrying my fat ass through the team tourney and hosting the hot sweaty dude fest. Komaki Sisters 4 LIFE amirite?
Sataya - I shall win next time.
Magz - Too good ahhhh.
Davey - You were on fire sir.
Choco - Appreciate the room you provided us, it was a lifesaver.
Dakanya - I always wondered if your name was from 奪還屋, now I'm for sure. BTW, ふられました sounds more homo.
Sync - Your Akiha is sexy, I was jealous. Keep it up my fellow jp.
Dev - You still suck.
Sentenru - Good seeing you again, we should actually match up next time, probably a good idea.
Mizuki - More Loliz.
Trick Daddy - Good times, more match ups next time imo.
Chun - Take it easy. (lol)

If I didn't mention you, good seeing you, but im sure you're not gay enough to care.

Stay strong my brothers.

We've been killed on 5 on 5 WT7, we have the lowest amount of REALLY good players, and where the fuck is hunger for our revenge next West Toast. I've heard almost nothing about getting revenge except for magz, dropping VAkiha for Sion, but is that all NorCal has?

I've even stepped it up. I actually borrowed a fucking converter to practice MBAC, and I NEVER practice for FG's. I'm buying an HRAP so I can get a for sure better stick, and spending money to mod it out so it can be full sanwa, just so I can get a top-notch stick so I can play MBAC. I don't want West Toast 8 5 on 5 to be the same as last time, but having Nerina also on our side. I want all 5 of whoever on the team to be to get hungry and level that shit up. No more excuses, not even me. I want this to be epic. I want us to be heard. We're at FFA bitches. GET FUCKING HYPE.

This is surprising, I didn't get any of this from you in WT7, and a lot of people will agree with me. As magz stated, it's disheartening that you assume that norcal isn't hyping up for wt8.

Looks like Nerina won't be able to make it today, so if anyone wanted to come down just to play him, today would not be the day -.-"

Still, I recommend coming to the session as it's always good to have practice uninterrupted by class schedules, etc.

I'll be there around noon myself. See you all there.

damn, i guess ill go down just for magz and dev then. yes homo

So, are you people planning on doing another tourney up there in the near future?

well this is just me, but im hoping we can get alot more organized first before we can do another tourney. the first one wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either.

just wanna get stuff straight before making a second attempt.
the biggest issues about our last tourney were:
-Rushed tournament (most of that was from the con-staff who were bitching at us though)
-Shitty (very very shitty) brackets
-terrible environment (sweaty ddr playing power rangers was not fun to be next to)
-early start time.

what im hoping we can improve on our second time is indeed those points, along with:
-a nice open venue that dosent mind us and stays open late.
-if we do find a nice location, im hoping that the heat isnt ridiculous, im sure most players like comfortable environments over hot musty ones.)
-getting more attention and players from our area as well.
-coming armed in order to shut up some certain shit talkers (lol jk.....or am i?)

1. in that case, we should have another one down here sooner or later.

2. you sac cats need to come down to west toast 8 with us and do some norcal dmg imo.

Alright SJSU people. So I just found out that I did not get the job, meaning that when my layoff takes effect at the end of October expect to see me alot more for practice. The goal is to see myself on par with Magz, Alt, and Tsubasa (when he's mad) by next West Toast.

EDIT: This also means that I will have no extra money to pick up stick so it will still be pad for me. (I was hoping I could get the boobless version of Mizuki's to up my mind game. Loli psych out! :V)

get a stick damn you. Put it on your credit, ask your parents (mow the lawn or somethin), sleep with a fat chick, whatever needed. (I'm a bad friend btw)

There were 1.5 Neros (arly and mason), 0.5 Nanayas (myself and only against Arly), and 0.5-1 Satsukis (Mason).  Out of 23 people who showed up that's definitely a dominating % of the people there.  3 Ciels and 4 Akihas is a valid point and you can complain about that if you want.  However out of those 4 Akihas, none of them were Psylocke.  If you think you can just play against the four at WT7 and then say you know how to beat Psylocke, I will laugh at you.

lolol it's so true, don't line any of us up and compare us to psylocke, I say this because dakanya was playing stick.

As for the original topic, I agree with a lot of opinions flying here. It's really hard to keep shit original when our options are so limited. I honestly don't care as long as it's fun, and I got a lot of practice to do that'll keep me occupied. If people are getting to the point where they aren't getting anything from the game, everything appearing to be the same old shit, I say take up something else with your time, why keep playing?
