My car is OK but has a possibility of dying from unknown causes. Carlos's car is 8 years younger than mine, but gets 20 MPG compared to my car's 28 MPG (more around 30-32 the way I drive). Gas costs, music selection and comfort-ability being the primary factors for this decision, which vehicle should we take to AMDev?

Thanks for coming by, Vegas. I will admit honestly (but I don't want to sound like a douche, so sorry ahead of time) that it looked like you guys had a lot to benefit from playing us, but not really the other way around. I personally am glad to help people out in learning the game, so level up and become strong! I would not mind hosting you guys again down the road.

Okay, so I want to do at least a couple of $5.00 MMs while at Evo this year. I propose this: 1 game, best 2 out of 3 rounds. Before first round, 1 shot of 80 proof whatever (Goldschlager and other liqueurs are acceptable, however). As 2nd round starts, 2nd shot of 80 proof. If 3rd round happens, 3rd shot before round starts. OOF.

Just as I mentioned to LoliSauce (doesn't look like he relayed it in this thread, maybe in person?), it would be helpful if people bring their own bedding to the house if they want to stay. We don't really have blankets to spare. There's a loveseat, a couch, two recliners, and a large tile floor to sleep on. bellreisa and Spidey are coming, dunno if they are claiming first dibs. You guys can duke it out.

People are welcome to stay. Available: 2 recliners, 1 loveseat, and 1 couch. Please bring sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, etc. so we can make sure you guys are covered.

And the only reason that Vegas doesn't really get out much is half because the scene here is so new and half because only a few of us have cars.

Sounds like the majority if the Melty community ;_;

I'm open to the idea, but our two regions aren't exactly buddybuddy yet. I welcome the chances that AZ and NV will be able to meet up at my house and Devastation for some intense practice and making bros out of anyone. Just understand that I have skepticism right now about who would be allowed on the teams. Not sure how everything will play out, but let's just get together and play first!

You guys are still pretty close to AZ, so I thought I'd extend a couple of offers out to you guys!

Arizona is running a house tournament on May 8th with casuals on May 7th and May 9th. bellreisa and Spidey are confirmed to attend (and may be looking for 1-2 more people to ride with them), and players from Vegas also want to come down and play (almost guaranteed). I am willing to try and help out anyone who wants to come out. Bring a sleeping bag or something and the hard tile floor is yours to sleep on. We have a couple of recliners, a loveseat, and a couch as well. If bell and Spidey are staying, that will probably leave the two recliners.

Ranbat will begin and end on Saturday. There will be casual play / practice on Sunday, but that's about it. No need to stay for Sunday if you need to get back.

What's this business of AZ and Vegas being lumped together as a region? AZ travels to Cali for most of its practice and competition. Vegas hardly travels at all. What other regions are there in the first place?

This is edging closer and closer. I know some SoCal people will be coming to this, but I don't know any specifics. Who's down? I can probably house 1-2 people, and Duppy's place (if he wants to offer it) has plenty of empty space for people to bring sleeping bads and stuff. Start setting things up! This is a good opportunity to get some tournament practice in before Evo!

Also, let's get hype enough that we put some of the main games to shame.
