Ordered a Zowie Celeritas keyboard online. Seemed like the best one for me.

You need a keyboard with Anti-Ghosting features.

The problem arises because keyboards use an X/Y Axis Grid for their keys. This means that if you hold S, C and X, the third key will get cockblocked because the other two keys are already using up the X and Y axis. S and C both use up an axis that X needs, so it gets ghosted.

That site was helpful.

When holding HG, C is the only other button i can't press.
When holding WE, X is the only other button i can't press.

Thanks a lot, now i know what to look for and what it's called.
Was gonna check out computer stores today, so the timing is perfect.

Forget about that crap and just buy Razer Lycosa
It's got fancy lights and an extended front, which are both bad in my opinion. Worst of all though is that it has its own drivers, which makes it incompatible with my PS3 keyboard-controller converter.

I'd prefer it if i could customize a classic keyboard or just find one that is nice by default, without any fancy modern functions.

You should try to get a keyboard that doesnt jam when pressing 3 buttons simultaneously.
Well yeah, that's one of the the minimum requirements.

Also I think keyboards that register a command when you push down the button(rather than releasing) would be good for fighting games.
I've never tried a keyboard that registers the command upon release rather than press.

I was thinking a keyboard with flatter buttons might help a little with faster execution, and someone mentioned somewhere that you could replace the rubber things under the buttons with metal thingies for a better result, i think.
I'm not sure about how that works, which is why I'd appreciate it if some sort of specialist could fill me in.

Remapping does work, but using another key as C is something my brain can't handle.

Seems the only option is to get another new keyboard.
Know of any keyboards that are particularly good for fighters?

On my keyboard at home, i can't do 1C. :psyduck:

Nothing happens if i hold down-left and press C. It works fine with A and B, and it also works if i switch keyboard, but my other keyboard has sloppy keys unsuited for fighters.

Anyone else experienced something like this? I'd rather not buy another keyboard over something stupid like this.

Your best bet would be to go through the thread, join all of the American servers and stay in the ones who seem active after a day or two.

Also, Open port 7500 if you haven't already. Connecting through direct IP gives much better netplay.

EDIT: General message to everyone who joins.
Don't expect to get any action by joining the server, typing "wanna play" in the general chat, then leave after 10 seconds of not getting a reply. Some people do this. Not all, but some.

The thing is; sometimes people look away from their computers, but if you give it a little time, you will get a reply.

Another thing I'd like to suggest is changing your hamachi settings so you get a popup window of the chat whenever there's something new there. Don't worry, this won't disturb your other duties. If you have something else going on over it, it will simply blink orange down on the taskbar.

Crap, didn't see your reply earlier.

One solution might be a reinstall. Shit sometimes happens for no explainable reason.
It is not unusual for visual novels to have hidden commands, sometimes these are triggered by accident. I'd check out the MirrorMoon forum and check if they have a list of such commands, or if anyone there can help.

More and more people are coming by the servers here and we're having a wonderful time.
We've got both newbs and seasoned individuals.

Server: mbac_eu
Pass: eu

Server: Melty Blood EU
Pass: sugoisugoi

By the way, is it possible to have all active servers added to a list in the OP post or something? would make things easier for people, I'd reckon.

Just tried all the european servers listed in this thread.

There are still a few people at mbac_eu and MBeur, though i'm not getting any response in the chat.
Seems there's still some activity, if only by a few users.
Managed to get myself into some matches and got destroyed. I love this game.

I just created:
Network ID: Melty Blood EU
Password: sugoisugoi

Where i plan on getting 2- perhaps 3 of my buddies to join. All eurofags are free to join.

Do the images not appear from the start, or do they disappear sometimes as the story goes on? (the latter being normal, sometimes)
Have you tried using skip mode to see if something changes?

This shirt, it is an eyesore.
This shirt this shirt this shirt this shirt this shirt
This shirt this shirt this shirt this shirt this shirt
This shirt this shirt this shirt this shirt this shirt
This shirt this shirt this shirt this shirt this shirt

I'd love one that says that. Too bad the shipping costs would probably be steep for just a t-shirt.

Hello, names' Roy, Norwegian.

My main interests are Type-Moon, 7th Expansion, Touhou and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Although it's been about 5 years since i read Tsukihime, i only recently started playing melty actively.
I've been playing Hisoutensoku for 9 months and I've always admired the beauty of Melty Bloods aerial combos.

I've had the original Melty Blood for quite some time, though i never really played it. I got Act Cadenza about a week ago and I've been enjoying it a lot thanks to the Melty Blood Caster.

Here's a list of the games i have and who i play with.
Hisoutensoku: Sakuya or random select.
Melty Blood: Akiha, instinctively chose her my first time and stuck with her ever since.
Guilty Gear: I hardly play it, but when i do, i choose Bridget. Haven't even tried anyone else.
Ougon Musou: I only played it for a day, but i prefer Battler and Kanon.
Tekken 6: I don't really like the game, but if i play it, i play Ling Xiaoyu
Super Street Fighter IV: I have it, but found it boring so i don't play it.
Mortal Kombat (PS3): I don't like it simply because of the way the blocking works, but if i play, i use Johnny Cage.
