Sorry for the late post -- just got in from Boston!

ggs to everyone that came out -- had a lot of fun. Also, thanks for the advice Roku and Jimmy. :3

I'll keep working on it.

52
If I go (IF) I'll bring down my streaming setup. Maybe. I'll have to see if it's practical, but i will consider it.

I'll bring my fan!

53
We'll have more setups here than at Winter Brawl  :laffo:

lol  :prinny:

54
I'm bringing my laptop -- the menus drag a little bit but the gameplay is fine.

55
Likely to go, school work seems to be clearing up.

Getting hype.

56
I said this before, but I'm confirming -- I'll be there for this.

There is a tournament this weekend, yes? Jimmy, if you wanna go, I can give you a ride (if you're up for it -- can totally understand if you're not). :3

Fun tournament! Good games to everyone and thanks again to PaperTigre for hosting Melty Blood singles and teams for us.

Thanks again to all the people that stayed at my place -- hope you had a fun time and didn't mind having to be a bit quiet at night.

Hopefully, I'll see most of you guys at Final Round in two weeks! :3

70
Who exactly is running this anyway?

:P

PaperTigre is!

My monitor doesn't have a VGA cable, just the standard HDMI.  Is this an issue?

Shouldn't be an issue I'm thinking!

Also, AFAIK, we have one desktop setup (mine), with a Evo monitor (Comic's). I still think we need one more full setup.

Tigre, can you comment on this?

Garu has just informed me Chelsea ran into a significant amount of financial trouble recently, and had to cancel his plans.

:prinny:  However, a different competitor will be joining him on his flight over in Chelsea's place.  :prinny:

Hope it's Hare!

Question: Is there any etiquette surrounding the level of play expected in an event like this?

Having played MBAA for less than three months, and really fighting games in general for probably less than six total, would it even be worth registering for the tournament? I am interested in attending, but it would be my first proper event and I have no idea about these things. Is having cannon fodder for the first rounds a good thing, or is quality valued enough over quantity that someone like myself should not waste the time needed for the matches? :psyduck:

I think you should come out. It's never a waste to have someone come out to an event if they genuinely want to play.

Regardless of your skill level or anything else, these events are fun and you can see a good deal of high level play if you come out. You can also talk and play with other more seasoned players and get tips and other stuff.

If you're in town and you have the funds to come out, you definitely should in my opinion!

73
I had pre-registered for the event but I didn't know you could individually register for games -- I registered for Melty yesterday!

See you guys there! :3

74
I can commit to bringing my PC, but I'm not sure of my monitor's delay -- it may be more than what people want to deal with. I think I  may need someone to bring a monitor too...

75
Oh, Komidol, you can still bring your setup (if you want to) -- there is more than enough space at my place but we would have to lug it back and forth.

I'm helping with Arcana setups -- I could bring my PC setup for Melty if we needed one... I'd just have to... clean up my computer a bit. :<
