Another question - can anyone recommend a utility for backing up my computer's hard disk on an external drive? I might need a reformat soon.
Personally i just copy documents and settings and any saves and other folders you created, if your worried get robocopy..

Hello. My name is Bede (pronounced as beed), and I live in New York, about 40 minutes east from Albany.

I have played Melty Blood casually for a few years. Only since recently have I actually discovered that I really like fighting games enough to get myself an arcade stick (TE Fightstick to be precise). It was also around this time that I discovered MBCaster and this site, and started playing MB (and fighters in general) seriously.

Speaking of MBCaster, since there's no scene near me (I live in the middle of nowhere), I find it quite necessary, so I applaud whoever made this program. I main Len and W. Len, though I'm not great with either yet. I hope to have a good time on the forums.
We must live close, because I live in the middle of nowhere too!

If you are running IDE on your computer then USB2 on the external should be fine, firewire should be superior. The options are best in top to bottom order
SCSI
Sata
eSata
Firewire
USB2
IDE
USB1

Hello, mewofforcena, Alfonse, and Valerian!! How do you do?
I have no idea at all...!
One person said that "Melty Bread"  was a board game, but other said that it wasn't a game. I'll be crazy in confusion...
Now, I knew it was a game which was made based on the Manga in Japan.
However, the Manga "Melty Blood" or "Tsukihime" aren't sold at the Manga specially book stores in Japan. Why is it?
Most popular Mangas in Japan now are " Naruto", "One Peace", "Magical teacher Negima", and "Grappler Baki", etc...

There is no Tsukihime anime/manga...what are you referring to??
*EDIT*

Heloo, Ninjyaneko. How do you do?
Thank you. Your advice was reference very much for me.
When I did as you taught immediately, the image was displayed left this. However, the picture size may be not matched, therefore the part at the right of that seems not to be displayed...
Is "Melty Bread" a game? But I haven't played the Game...
Is the game sold at the electric appliances stores?
But I'm not able to play the game. Because I can take only alittle time to play and I am busy.

Hello, Alfonse.I'm glad to meet you again!!
Thank you. I'll go to "Akiha's Tea Room" shown by that URL tomorrow or the day after tomorrow...

Melty bread is a game!

Why the bloody hell are you forgetting loli, traps and dickgirls?
Tis true!
It is such a complex game, all the rules and regulations of the game are so complex, which makes the game superior because it lacks many loopholes that other games contain with the ambiguity of the rules. When you choose your character they have different affects, and are not effected by certain enemies, your character must avoid the loli kind, unless, your character is of legal age, or a ninja. Traps and dick girls are avoided or embraced, depending on your characters status job and skills.

Melty Bread isn't a game. It's this board's name.
Melty bread is a board game version of Melty Blood, it is similar to Monopoly and Scrabble, It makes discrete references to 2girsl1cup, and Big Rigs Over The Road Racing. The object it to be the first player to completely cross the entire board, while not dying and killing all the enemies, which lets you go towards the future and into the crimson moon, if done correctly you will receive a scape doll.

I certainly hope so, because it probably will release on the console before the PC

Fixed.  :slowpoke:
Why would the port it to PS3? i dont think they will.

I didn't say specifically the PS3. I just meant a console in general. I personally think it would release on the console before the PC is all. As to which system? I have not a clue but it might very well go to the PS2/PS3.  :mystery:
If anything it would be PSX because thats where Act Cadenza went, I don't think it would be worth it for them to put it on Blue Ray...

Hey, Arlieth. How do you do?
I have some the points that I don't understand about this message board.
To begin with, what is "melty"?
And, who is "Akiha"? Is Akihabara the name of a place in Tokyo?
Moreover, how can I display the picture (like a Manga) at the left of your comment?how can I get the picture like that?
I tryed to draw a picture  by myself and up-loaded it because I had not understood them at all. It was displayed not at leftside but at topside. Is it bad in this way?

As far as melty, I cannot help you.
Akiha is a character from Melty Blood, (the game this forum is intended for)
that picture is your avatar and will be displayed every time you post. To add such a picture you need to click on the profile tab at the top and then on the left click "Forum Profile Information". There you will find a "Personalized Picture:" section and under that "I have my own pic:" where you upload your own.
Hope that helped

A good one.
Not nessarily, Kix runs it fine with a celeron and 256Ram
i run it on a 1.8 p4 with 512 32bit and full screen.
graphics is the thing. i used to run it on my old back up PC, it was a 1.8 with 64mb graphics (back with MBR) and i got a 512mb for it and it ran much faster.
