Anyway, to answer your question Omicron Austin, all three styles of VAkiha are highly playable now. (ie C isn't shit status anymore) Choose C if you like untechable j.c, scary pit blockstrings, and better ribbons. Choose H for the fullscreen corner carry from anything, better rushdown, and jump/dash cancelable j.c. When playing C, it's important to remember that she still has full-screen corner carry, she just needs to use meter to do it. (Unlike H) C-VAkiha's 623C will bring them closer to the corner.

'Backturn' mixups (ie when you combo your opponent's back which made crossups possible in the corner vs some chars) have been removed from MBCC. This hurts VAkiha a little but oh well.

Additional info: 214C otg relaunches, but it still blows. j.236B seems to be faster, but I haven't found a use for it yet.

Discuss VAkiha's wonderful half-moon style here. Day 1 impressions of her? She's exactly the same as PS2 with damage nerfs on 5A6AA.

Her OTG relaunches are:
-623C
-22C 

Her midscreen combo should still go like this:
(2AA) 5C 4C 5A 6AA 6C dash 5B 2C 623B 5B 2C 623B 5B 2C 623B

Corner combo may want to omit the 5A6AA because of the nerfed proration, though the damage is relatively the same with/without it. I prefer to drop the 5A6AA in the corner because that allows for less gravity and lets you set up the half-momiji loop if you want.

General note: H/C-VAkiha's main loop combo in the corner, the Momiji loop, has several different reps you can do to link the 623Bs together. It doesn't really matter which rep you're using because the damage doesn't vary much between them. Here are some examples of momiji loop reps:
-4C (easiest rep and requires no specific timing at all. Lowest damage)
-4C 2C (The 2C may drop against certain characters if you do not 4C low enough to the ground. Sloppy timing will omit some hits of the 623B occasionally)
-5B 2C (My favorite rep because it doesn't have reverse beats)
-4C 2C 2A(whiff) 5BB (Advanced momiji rep that will net you the most meter. A little more difficult than the others. Beware of using this rep throughout the entire loop because if there is too much gravity from the amount of hits, your opponent may be able to tech out of the last 623B)
-5B 2C xx 4C (Hardest Momiji rep, no reverse beats and nets a good amount of meter)

Optimal combo off air throw:
Air Throw 2A 5C 2C 5A(whiff) 6AA 6C dash 2C Momiji loop

A few notes about C-Satsuki-

-super double jumps carry Satsuki too far in CC, so you have to do a normal double jump for the second BEj.C to connect.

-combos shouldn't end after 3c ever. Go into 2c 3c 623a 421a or 2c 5c BE623b otg

-half charge 5c mixup is hella good

Due to this being so close to the game's official release and other plans keeping some of us away, we are going to post-pone the event until a week or two after New Years. An official date hasn't been set because we are wondering what works for any out-of-state guests so we can work with that!

So, Jimmy, Ehrik, Greg etc.- when is best for you guys? We're looking at possible dates next week or the week after!

As far as combos off of shield counter go, F-Sion is sort of limited. After messing around in training mode there were three combos I came up with:

236D 5B j.ABC j.ABC Air Throw: 2.2k on Arc. Works anywhere and easy as shit
236D 22A (whiff) 2A 5B j.BC Air Throw: 1.7k on Arc. Use when back is to corner. Low air throw gives you forward tech punish with falling j.C
236D 2C 214A- 1k on Arc. Sacrifices damage to get left/right mixup if you do j.8 or j.7 air dash afterwards.

Seeing as she can't combo into 214B off shield counter, she can't go into her BEj.C combos, and doing them off 3B isn't worth it.

Ends with corner tech punish setup and could probably go into yayaya loop if you need more corner carry. This char is cool!!  :fap: :fap:

Not sure if there's a legitimate changes list for CC rolling around somewhere but here's what I've noticed:

C-WLen:
-has BE4B
-has BEj.214A
-214A prorate worse
-623B causes ground bounce on airborne opponent
-Ex Command Grab is special cancelable? 63214C 623B works, in any case
-623C causes untechable wallslam and otg relaunches
-BEj.2C startup is faster

H-WLen:
-2B more hitstun
-has BE4B
-has BEj.236A
-Ice farts (trail hitbox of j.214B) causes ground bounce on airborne opponent
-Same 623B/C buffs as C (assumption)

F-WLen
-has BE4B
-j.236A/B/C otg relaunches
-looks more or less the same? I don't play F so idk

Above video features HiroHiro's C-WLen. Doesn't do anything too fancy aside from proving she's about as strong as she has been in the past versions. Couple things I noticed were that ch 214A combo only did 2.8k on Nero, which should be quite a bit less compared to what it got in PS2 MBAA. (Will test the values later) Other than that, we see a cool BE4B combo in Hiro's fight against Nero, as  well as a demonstration of how BEj.2C was buffed in terms of startup and travel speed.

She pretty much abuses that F-Wara. Unfortunately, we don't see anything new here, other than that her damage is lowwwww. (compared to PS2) Momiji loop not breaking 5k vs Wara? MBCC might be a rough life, fellas  :-\
