1.05 c-arc uses meter for her ~5k corner bnb, which also happens to carry to the corner from somewhere around half screen.

Evo is not "anti-anime", I don't know where this impression came from.  They will run games based on anticipated turnout & sponsorship.  Despite the meh response from Ecole for evo MBAA I think it would be worthwhile to contact French Bread/Ecole to see if they would be interested in contacting MrWiz about sponsoring an MBAACC tourney.  If nothing else, it's a good way to continue reminding them that there are, in fact, people in the U.S. that want to play their game.
That being said, regardless of if it's a main game or a side tournament I will do my best to be at Evo to support Melty.

Look at what Garu did coming into a version where his main character was significantly nerfed and he was not at all familiar with the changes made: he still ended up wrecking house. (I'm just glad he lost to Kusanagi, or that would have looked really bad).

Don't think anyone addressed this... Garu had switched his main to H-Kohaku a little while before Evo and I'm not aware of that char being "significantly nerfed" in PS2 MBAA.

Last Saturday's ranbat added!  We had an AHF side tourney to get ready for AH3, which will be added to the lineup starting at the next biweekly.  C-Bus Bar Battles Gaiden is on the 22nd, so that will be on the 29th.  Toasty has been talking about upgrading MBAA from "free side-tourney" status to money entry, so hopefully that goes well.  Lastly, I'm adding a link to the SRK SSF4 results thread in the first post, as I see no reason to ignore MI's strongest FG scene.
