Tohno Akiha + Tohno Shiki = Iroiro Aru Kedo Nakayoshi Keimai = "Though there are some things between them, a brother and sister who really get along"

Kohaku + Mech-Hisui = Kohaku Kyoui no Tekunorojii = "Kohaku's Fearsome Technology"

Neko-Arc Chaos + Kohaku = Mai (something... the kanji is too blurry), Ore no Tabako ni Hi wo Tsuke na = "(something), give me a light for my cigarette"

Kishima Kouma + Arima Miyako = Shugendo to ka Kenpo to ka = "Such as Shugendo or Kenpo..." (i.e. fighting styles that members of the team know)

I'm Motoh.  I own minor hobbyists and the rare expert who slips up, but I'm still a nabcake myself.  Picked up Melty Blood on a mix of fighting game habit (SNK mostly) and a love of Type-Moon merchandising that's probably borderline unhealthy.

I live in central missouri against my will.  If anyone can save me or find a MB cab around here, I'll love you forever.

Is whiffing J.c coming down after a air throw a good idea, or does it not matter? I usually whiff J.c for after air throw combos to tech punish or get that extra otg but meh I'm not 100% sure if its safe all the time

A example of a tech punish for Warakia is to J.c coming down after a air grab. You either get a OTG or if they ground tech then they get hit with another air combo. o:

You're right about the grabbing. The 22a/b stuff isn't such a good idea because it's so horribly punishable and doesn't really give much reward and 22c is pretty much a waste of meter because it gets Nero away from me when I want him close and does crap for damage in the unlikely event it connects. I did summon stuff out of block strings too often, I think I developed a bad habit from the first 3 fights of the tourny and didn't adapt quick enough.

Whoops I hadn't visited in a while I didn't see the reply sorry :/

Yeah I was wrong about the Dark tornado thingys I realized that after trying it a bit more X_x  sorry about that

I just have a few things to say for Alt, you don't have to follow them if you don't want to. This is just from my experience: Against Neros its better to rush them since a lot of moves they have leave them open (especially Deer B). Whenever I play Neros I would either grab them if they keep spamming mouths/deer. Throws also give you I-frames so extra protection against his zoo.After you grab them during Deer jump into the air and back dash away so the deer doesn't get you (If they've woken up by then they'll try to 5b you, shield it) (also make sure to time the throw right or the deer is going to get you as soon as the i frames end ).

If they're too far away for throws try using 22ab to summon punish. Keep them into the corner with 22c and keep pressuring (you can grab them as soon as their block stun ends). If they're in the air blocking, and if they're close enough to the ground hit them with a 2b since its unblockable. If they're shielding, just air grab them. And to mix it up try whiffing 5a after block strings instead of creature control since he can easily counter with crows.

Basically all i'm saying is
Grabs are your friends until you start getting punished for it (they'll usually stop summoning to avoid the grabs). (Then resort to the waiting game and punish him when you can)
And try to keep them in the corner so they don't have freedom to move around. Thats what the 5a whiff is for instead of the creature control moves. (Creature control allows them to jump away and counter attack if its during a block string)



This is just how I normally deal with Neros, hope it helps. And if it didn't and I made terrible mistakes please correct me
