omg this is just terrible... even his/her video's ending credits are taken/ripped from other videos. it's just so  :psyduck:

EDIT: 4:41 of his/her video, i'm pretty damn sure the music playing isn't "Holy Orders Be Just or Be Dead" and the entire last part = farce/melty blood

i'm not going to bother anymore, this is sheer plagiarism.

well i looked for the two other videos you said, and that video of his/hers is the prime definition of plagiarism. as much as i didn't want to post a comment on his video, i just couldn't help myself. like if a person is going to make an "AMV" like he/she intended. he/she should at least take the time and effort to create something from scratch as opposed to just taking other videos, ripping them and claiming them as his/her own. hell even real AMV's credit which anime they used for their video (if it's not already blatantly obvious)

EDIT: to further prove the point

ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yitnDHlGGYA
at 0:55 of that video, it is the exact same at 1:00 of his/her video.
at 1:20 it is the same as 1:23

there's just so many clips stolen from that video (Krsnik)

do parallel port converters have any lag? i'm using this really old psx -> parallel port converter and i was wondering if there's any lag in there. i'm using a hori fighting stick 2 and i sometimes switch to pad. i don't feel any real difference. what about HRAP's? anyone done any testing with those using a parallel port converter?

i also have a radioshack converter, but since those have been proven to have lag even with USB Overclock i'm going to refrain from using them. right now i'm going to keep using this parallel port converter, if memory serves me right those converters have very minimal/no lag but i'm just not too sure.

New patch got dummy recording! Next c3, you all better watch out.

Everyone tell me what you do, so I can have the dummy do it, then I'll go find counters to it!

learn to counter hisui's chair and you'll be on your way to beating nam (lol)

I just realized something.  In melty blood neutral tech is faster than back/front tech.  In guilty gear neutral tech is slower than back/front tech.

It would be good for GG+MB players to keep this in mind or you will eat invalid combos in both games but for opposite reasons lol.

that would explain why it would show up as invalid when nero is doing j.C and i couldn't tech.

....God bless you, LK.

I got to the level I'm at playing one person, Sp00ky. We were pretty much doing the same thing LK was/is doing - "studying Japanese matchvids and seeing what's common and what's not and ideas and stuff and used them my own regards", "practiced enough to make sure that I messed up as little as possible". It's a universal concept.

100% agree with you, i remember doing the same thing playing guilty gear with my friends. we all got murdered at one random tournament and we all decided to level up. getting better takes time, i guess you'll just have to be patient until the VA/MD MB scene gets better. in all honesty, i think majority of the VA/MD scene has never touched melty blood prior to the release of the PS2 version (if i'm wrong then i'm very very very sorry). so yea... we suck. lol

EDIT: ok apparently the argument here started with VR using the invalid corner combo (or that j.236x as an air combo finisher). well... uhh... the more you know. thanks for the info. *shifts all blame of this argument to nam*

lol man.. i remember first mb tourney at C3, i was doing invalid j.2C combos with akiha and winning. i agree that the va/md level is bad. the only time we get together and play is at C3 and MB is pretty much a side tournament for most of us (except nam, he's the one that goes to C3 and plays MB all day)

as for casual matches i believe it goes as follows

nas = alone (i think he sometimes go down to play with eli and others)

me and nam

tiamat and vr

eli, 4r5 and mamation (a lil sketchy on this one, i don't think mamation plays MB much or even takes it seriously, this crew is mainly guilty gear)

rei = alone/ plays online

yea... i think i'm officially a stalker/troll  :-\ but this is just basing what i've observed and read up on. i do try to play to educate, during casuals i let them know if they could have teched or not and try to train them on how to tech out of it. sometimes i tell them it's an unblockable move (aoko's charged beam, yes some people don't know about this) or it's a high hit.

EDIT: from nam's post. yea i try to care about winning, but it's mostly money for food (yes i'm poor and in need of money...seriously). i just play and learn from what i've seen and my mistakes, it's not like i want to be the best player in the world, i'm just a guy that likes to play and not suck at the same time. face it losing sucks. that and i play for food (C3 sucks cuz things never start on time and i'm always hungry)

i mean first time i played against LK during casuals, i couldn't get a single round off his v.akiha. as the day went out i managed to squeeze out some wins (don't know if it's fatigue or not but i learned something).

oh and zar if you want to come down to C3 and just demolish everyone in MB there, i'd actually appreciate it. i wouldn't mind getting my ass kicked and learning a thing or two.

i also realized that the casual distribution list is pretty damn useless. so uhh ignore that.

Oh, and If any char comes close to being "broken" in MB its Akiha (imo). She has far too many tools to abuse at high-lvl play.

oh my, please enlighten me with your wisdom.

all this talk about air is reminding me how much LK was flying. i need to learn how to fly! :toot:

i think infraction = magic circuit thingy (i guess) (EDIT: nope that's not it)

i don't really have a good answer as to why smash players play MB. my guess would be the fact that both games are really easy to get into. smash is very simple at the beginner level, moving around, doing attacks, just doing anything in general is well straightforward. as for melty blood, the system is deep but not deep enough like guilty gear. combo system is easier (definitely easier than guilty gear's gatling system, reminds me of MvC). any experienced smash player (competition/casual) should feel quite at home with MB due to some of the system similarities.

i guess i'll just have to agree with 4r5 why capcom players find it uncomfortable. i've played enough capcom fighters to learn that being in the air is the worst thing you could possibly do unless you're planning something. the options melty blood gives you in the air means being in the air can feel pretty safe. in smash, you're in the air half the time trying to figure out where to land and not die (for me at least, nam's ganon loves to keep me up there). that and those jumping neutral A attacks are well pretty good. damn you short hops!

i guess that confirms why that kouma didn't seem to look like VR's   :-\

lolol, that looked so dumb. i think he used j.C and i pressed 5A (hence the counterhit), that table has a damn huge hitbox. if you look closely you'll see akiha facing left when the hit occurs then it's facing right then left again.

my only comment is... i played a crappy akiha  :( VR's kouma practically carried the team. i need to work on my oki's and pressures. oh yea, i'm not seen beating eli's miyako, i guess it didn't get saved. the whole tourney was messed up. some were alternating (this years SBO teams format) others weren't.

well the actual tourney started at like 9pm, while smash (singles) and ggac (singles) were still going at the same time (half the people in the mb tourney were in either smash or ggac). so we could only do either teams or singles unless we started early in which we didn't.

VR - kouma = <3 there was definitely some shenanigans going on there.
LK's partner was bad so he practically had to ocv everyone, maybe i'll learn how to play better next time :(.
nam = random bullshit (ihateyou)
tiamat - man... i don't know what happened there i was just totally outclassed :-\ maybe if i was baiken.
nas - good shit man, very few dropped combos this time around (yay for lag-free)
4r5 - always a cool guy
eli - not bad for the first miyako i ever fought
rei - you still can't compare to LK, but you'll get better. you just need to fly more lol

me vs LK =  :slowpoke: VS a really fast pokemon.

oipoi played arc (i think) and mulligan played kohaku

48
hi guys i'm a scrub, teach me how to play right. kthx :toot:

49
i can't play without lag >_>
